AMT 1084M/06 Model Kit Various

This item arrived very quick!They said it would arrive on 04.16.20 but I got it this morning 04.14.20.This kit is amazing!. Wonderful detail! The only thing that confuses me is that the pic on the listing shows it to be 1/32 scale but on the actual box that I received says 1/72 scale.Even more confusing is that, when I opened it up, the instructions say that its 1/32 scale. LolNonetheless, it is definitely 1/72 scale and I am quite happy!

I build these kinds of kits a lot. This particular kit is an enjoyable build that has a lot of external detail, with plenty of room to recreate the interior features of this iconic short-range vessel with additional parts available through 3rd party model part companies. I just received a lighting kit for mine as I intend to light mine up for enhanced display experience.

This model is very sharp, I would recommend the "the RIO GRANDE" to all my star trek friends.

A nice looking kit, but it desperately is in need of a new tooling. People new to the hobby will most likely be put off by the sloppy fits.That said, with a lot of work this can be a gorgeous show piece.

This was a pretty simple kit to put together. It's big! (Over twelve inches!) And it has a good amount of detail.It looks nice. I went ahead and added some lights to it. It was pretty simple, given the ease of the model.

It needs you to have hobby scissors, paint (it comes unpainted), glue and a decent workspace (it's a big project). I thought it would snap together and not just be a light blue shell, but I guess that was on me.

Its a great size and has lots of amazing detail. A lot of fun to paint and build.

EXCELLENT KIT! Speedy, secure delivery. I am going to buy another one of these very shortly. Well worth the money. Great fit, no flash, easy construction. Fine enough details on model.With models the real beauty and mastery of it is 80% paintwork to 20% construction, in my humble opinion.However. I do wish they had afforded an interior to this kit.

The delivery time was outstanding and the package arrived safe and sound.However, it is NOT 1/32 scale as advertised, but 1/72 scale.Which made all the extras I bought: 3D printed bits, custom made decals and photo etch pieces and crew members totally useless!Not impressed.

Great product. Second release of this model kit.
