Kirk 2" Standard Quick Release Clamp for Arca Swiss-type Plates and Mounts

This is a high quality precise mounting adapter. The bubble comes in handy since I'm using them on older tripod heads that lack any leveling indicators. All you have to do is to attach it to the existing mounting plate (via the 1/4" screw). This then converts the mounting system to Swiss Arca. The entire mounting system is rock steady. This is a very cost-effective way to convert any tripod to accept quick-release Arca mounting plates since a new high quality tripod head can cost several hundred bucks.

good products (i have an l bracket for a canon 7d, 2 ½" qr plate retrofitted to a vanguard sbh-250 and just ordered a 3' qr plate to retrofit a vanguard sbh-300). but the company nickel and dimes you. the mounting hardware for the qr plates comes at an additional price--which for the price of the item ($95 for the 3") seems like overkill. so it costs them a star. otherwise, yes i would recommend their products.

No surprises! Excellent addition to my monopod.
