This thing is awesome! I was worried reading some of the other reviews that this thing would be too big or painful to insert. However, it is amazing. It is the perfect size, not to big and not too small either. No sharp edges, and went in without any struggles! This is a STEAL for the price! Also, this speculum is great for anal insertions. It is a joy to see yourself opened up and gaped. Good product overall.

Absolutely pathetic. I was reading through reviews on this product saying the screws stripped easily, but I thought "oh, those people are probably just being too rough". Not the case. I wasn't using this thing for more than 15 minutes before it snapped shut inside of me. The screw just slides in and out now— absolutely no grip. Complete waste of money.

What a piece of junk. Bought 2 because of the reviews being all over the place. The first one stripped out the screw as I was turning to check movement and how to use. The second did allow me one use which was an awesome feeling but stripped out when closing to take out. Not worth the 30 mon drive to UPS store to return.

Some other speculums on amazon had reviews about rough edges or metal burrs that werent rounded out very well. OUCH. This is the first time I am trying something like this with my girl so I wanted to make sure it was as "comfortable", ahem, as possible. I wouldnt want a rough metal object cutting up my insides.This came in today and I am very pleased. Works exactly like the ones you see in videos. Very smooth. The measurements are correctly referenced!

I bought it for my lady and we have used it a few time. Both times she never complained about any sharp edges or sudden discomfort regardless of where I put it. The metal on the outside is polished to a high shine and the edges are deburred. Overall It is a great instrument to introduce medical play or just to give your lover a good stretch.A little user advice though. Since it is only a two prong system make sure you do not collapse it fully when withdrawing it, it will pinch the flesh that protrudes around the metal.

The screw slips through the hole instead of turning so it doesn't open or close. This was poorly manufactured. The part came defective & isn't worth the hassle of returning.

Threads on product were stripped rendering it useless before even being used.

The first one i got had a defective sharp spot near the edge rendering it completely useless. Amazon sent me a new one, this time the edge was perfectly smooth but there was a slight imperfection on the outside surface on one side, but it was fairly minor so it was still usable. The product description fails to mention that this is in fact the "large" size collins speculum, and NOT the standard size. Both items I got from Amazon were labelled large size. For the most part it was usable, but the screw was not entirely smooth so from time to time, you'd need to use one had to stabilize it while the other hand turns the screw. Also, note that there is metal lubrication along the hinges and the screw, you'd best be careful not to get that onto your sensitive spots.

I bought this for a friend (yes, really!). He was very pleased with the design of this item. It is quite fun, and very well made. His had no defects as others have mentioned here. Also happy with the seller Amazon, and delivery. Thanks!

This does not fit inside me as it is too big and the edges are too sharp. We have used it in my husbands ass and it worked ok, but he did complain about the edges being too sharp.
