Very versatile! Looks very dressy but also Is adorable with jeans and a T-shirt. I have thick shoulder length curly hair and it all fits in the net. Instantly look put together! I like how the clip is coated to give a sturdy grip. I tend to make a ponytail with a black elastic and then set the clip over it. Does not need to be very tight and it’s comfy all day.

The barrette is strong. I would not recommend this if you have a lot of hair or thick hair. The net is not big enough to hold my bun. The barrette is difficult to maneuver. When it clips onto itself, it is nearly impossible to unclip without assistance.The quality of the construction is great. It is not fragile, and it will not fall apart. The materials are pretty.

With over 2 ft of normal hair it fits snuggly in here. Not for super thick hair that is long. Long and thin or shoulder length and thick will work well. Super cute and a classy vintage way to keep hair off your neck.

This black Lace Ribbon hair clip keeps my hair nice and neat.  Great quality, very elegant and funtional.  The clip with black rubber insert secures my hair in place all day, yet not pulling or slip off.  All my long hair fits in the elastic net. Got some compliment at work.  Finally, after my second try, so happy to find this hair clip works on my straight hair.  It's a keeper!  I also brought a purple one from another saler.
