This was not only a cheaper alternative, but the pattern and colors went really well with our garage remodel that I finished. The one minor complaint is that a lot of the end pieces/caps don’t match up the way they should, so I had to cut them to fit. For the price, I can accept that.

nice
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I am very happy to have chosen this. It is very good to be laid in my basement. It is very comfortable to step on. The thickness is good. Can be spliced at will

Exactly what I was looking for!
Welcome to 2020 and more garage gyms during lockdown. Yep, I feel you. These tiles are perfect for what I wanted. Can kneel without trouble, and have less impact on my knees for stuff like jumping jacks and burpees. TBD on how they hold up over time, but I’m very pleased so far. (I still wouldn’t want to take an MMA-style fall without a thick mat on top, though.)I read a review concerned about having to cut lots of edge pieces. When I look closely, I see that both the blacks and the grays have two different styles of edges. Once I realized that, I discovered I only “potentially” would need to cut a piece when two edges of the same color joined (e.g. two blacks touch rather than checkerboard style). For me, that means only two areas of “interest”: one under my bench (so I don’t care) and one on a high traffic area (which I might deal with if it bothers me over time). See photos for what I mean.Note: I’d honestly love 12 more tiles, but I read reviews indicating the 12ct coloring/durability is different than the 24ct. I’m holding off further purchase because of that. If I was confident they’d be the same, I’d order more.

Great for home gym
These mats are perfect for my use with a home gym.Like many people across the country due to covid, I've decided to cancel my gym membership and start working out at home. These mats are great. Good price, Light weight, easy to clean and Very easy to assemble. Which is great if you need to transport them or reconfigure your equipment. Now, do understand that these are not super thick heavy duty rubber mats that may be in some big gyms. You still need to take caution when dealing with heavy weights. Dropping a 50lb iron dumbbell from standing position may still damage your concrete or tile floor but should protect from lighter weights/lower drops. And they definitely prevent scuffing or scratching. They also feel nice if you like to workout bare foot or to do yoga or stretches.Assembly took less than 5 minutes. I did encounter the strange edges that would not meet up like some reviewers said but if you pay attention, you will notice some of the edgy pieces are different shaped and you just need to swap those around until you get the perfect fit.Being that they are lightweight they do wiggle around just a little bit but only towards the ends where I don't have weights/equipment on them and so far no pieces have separated from another. Nor have I noticed any rips or tears and I use non-coated iron weights on them.No need to worry about sweating heavily or possibly spilling liquid on them either as they are easily cleaned.Overall I am very satisfied with these mats and plan to buy another set or two when my home gym expands more.

Love it!
I converted my living room into a gym. My family loves it! This product was easy to snap together like puzzle pieces. It is very cushy on my existing carpet. I am already looking to buy more for my office, as I am a massage therapist who takes off her shoes during treatments and I need that soft support under me while I work.

They get dirty easily and are not that thick--but more than met my home gym needs.
I got these to set up a home gym in my basement--specifically, a set of weights and a bench. On the plus side, these are pretty easy to set up and are flexible to fit in whatever space you need (within reason). They do get dirty pretty easily -- after just a few days, mine was all dusty and dirty and I had to clean it again -- but that's to be expected for a black foam mat (the dust shows on the dark background). They're not that thick, maybe half an inch, which means that I can't drop the weights or anything (but they're fine if I put the weights down calmly/normally). Overall, a good value and a good product, and my home gym is awesome. If only these things could provide me with better genetics, I'd be a world-class weightlifter.

Updated review - missing mats
I originally provided a negative review because the number of mats were short on two orders. However, the seller has quickly responded and I received my mats today. 5 stars for the quality of the mats and the rapid response.

Stylish and Effective Mats
I bought these mats for a workout room I was putting together. I bought both grey and black to make the room a little more stylish. They fit together nicely, but sometimes it's difficult to find the correct end pieces around the boarder of the room. I was able to do it, however, so it isn't a major issue. These mats are not super thick but thick enough for average workouts. I don't think they would hold up to dropping heavy weights on the floor on a regular basis.

Good Quality
This mat does not stink like those I used before. It looks good in my basement and feels comfortable for workout.
