So far the few recipes we’ve made have been good, though the Whoopie pie’s frosting was way off - and I should have known it was weird because it was so much butter but so little sugar but wanted to let my daughter follow the recipe. The chocolate zucchini bread was excellent though. However my biggest problem with this cookbook is that there aren’t pictures for every recipe. For a children’s cookbook I think this is super important so they know what the food should look like, and so they want to cook it. It takes some convincing to get my daughter to cook anything that doesn’t have a picture, even if it sounds delicious & I think it’s because she just can’t visualize it.

Got this for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves it. Yes while some of the recipes are much like adult cookbooks, this one is hers and gives her confidence that she can do it because it is for kids. My only complaint is that there isn't great frosting recipes... many people don't have Greek yogurt in their pantries... or cream cheese. Simple frosting recipes would be best.

My kids has so much fun making these merigues! The instructions are super easy and they are so pretty...will be making these again for Easter! And kids already requesting to make something else.

I highly recommend this book especially for kids. The recipes are super simple to follow and most have pictures. Purchased this for my daughter who is 9 and loves to bake. I was so impressed with this book I recently bought the cookbook.

This is a great cookbook for beginning bakers! My daughters have made a few of the recipes so far and have enjoyed it. The recipes are easy to follow and don’t require a lot of steps. It has nice big photos too. I’m glad I bought it.

My 5 yo son loves to cook and bake! He watched a lot of baking shows so this was a no brainer Christmas gift. He shows us what he would like to bake and we get to work. We’ve already made three recipes! If it were up to him, we would’ve made everything in the book already.

My 12 yr old loves to bake. She uses the cook book by herself. Has even learned how to make substitutions.

We bought this for our 9 year old and the directions and overall layout are so easy for her to follow. We've hardly had to help her at all! And everything she's made, which have been several different recipes, have all been delicious. We especially love the chocolate chip cookies and mini strawberry shortcakes. Our daughter loves that she is making delicious treats practically by herself; it makes her want to keep trying another new recipe!

Terrible book for UK customers.All the ingredients are given in American cups rather than grams. This is particularly hard for children to convert.I converted the measurements for our daughter to try the Starwberry muffin recipe but the order the ingredients went in were wrong which resulted in her mix splitting. This doesn’t encourage a seven year old to continue baking from this book.I don’t normally write bad reviews but feel that this was money not well spent.

Bought this for my 9 year old granddaughter who is just showing a real interest in baking/cooking. What a fabulous book it is. Her mother is quite cross with me as almost every recipe has been tried and she's not very good at clearing up after herself! We've had cup cakes galore, fairy cakes, Victoria sponge and with 3 brothers and sisters to feed they have all gone down very well. Clear and easy instructions. It's lovely to see her so busy in the kitchen and to be able to help her - every Nanny's dream!

All in American measures. Ok if you don’t mind sitting down and rewriting them.

This book is very ‘American’ and really tricky to work out the measurements.
