Scotch Brand PRO Thermal Laminator, Never Jam Technology Automatically Prevents Misfed Items, 2 Roller System, 9 inch (TL906)

I bought this for a gift for my granddaughter for Christmas. She loves it as as her mom who has found it very useful for laminating everything that she would like to keep without it tearing or fading. The laminator works easily and stores away easily. My 10-year-old granddaughter uses it without any difficulty. Great purchase.

There are a number of things that I would prefer in a laminator, such as being able to feed sheets through like a printer tray does so that it can reheat itself if necessary between feeds. An ability to handle larger lamination pouches, or even just a continuous laminator. Heck even this specific design could have a deeper tray woth a lower angle, or a better way of placing laminated items afterheating.All that said this was an absolute blast and I hate myself for all the years I wish I had a laminator instead of just purchasing one, and this laminator is really easy to use with awesome results so it's making this a wonderful experience

I've used a few different types of laminators, and this one is hands down my favorite. I've only had it crinkle up a sheet one time out of the hundreds of sheets I've laminated, and that was only because I put it in really strangely. For reference, with other laminators I would have to be so careful about lining it up perfectly and making sure it went in at a 90 degree angle. You don't have to worry as much about that with this one, it can tolerate quite a bit of user error. It's also fairly quiet, although it has a moment of making some noise when heating up, and then after heating up if I don't put in the next sheet right after, but even with those noises it's quieter than other laminators I've used.When I laminate, I often cut up small pieces of paper to have them laminate separately (like for making paper dolls), and as long as I use the right kind of laminating sheet (i.e. one with enough static electricity to hold the laminating sheet closed) the tray works great for that. My biggest issue now is that I have bad laminating sheets, so loading it from the top can mean the pieces start to fall.

This is my second one I have an older version of this same one my kids have it now. Works great!

I am preschool special education teacher and am constantly laminating to preserve items for years to come. I usually use card stock and 5ml pouches and needed a laminator that could accommodate constant usage and thick projects, especially something that could get hot enough - nothing is more annoying than open corners. I should also say that I put my laminators through the ringer! This would be third/forth laminator in a few years because of the heavy usage and/or not so careful use (oops!). My biggest problems with laminators are getting jammed, not getting hot enough, or making some terrible squeaking noise. I researched laminators for a while and really would have paid more if anything had decent and consistent reviews. This was a good price and the reviews were pretty good as well. I also am an avid fan of the scotch pouches - the price is incredible for the quality - so I figured I give this a try. LOVE! It surpassed my expectations. Its nearly silent! It has different size settings (3ml or 5ml) an anti jam button. There's also a nice place to wrap the cord for storage or traveling back and forth to work. It also laminates fairly quickly! I would absolutely recommend.

It delivers great results, and even though I wish it were more portable, there isn't much else to complain about. I highly recommend this machine; it has made my crafting projects much easier and more professional-looking.

6 years of frequent use, including at times very heavy use for office and homeschooling classroom use it performed wonderfully. Handles 3mm and 5mm thickness. Clarity has never been an issue. Typically, very smooth and not wrinkly. This morning 6 years after first use it is no longer heating enough to turn on the ready light. Happily ordering a new one.

This laminator is perfect for around the house or for a small business. It’s compact enough to easily store, but still gets the job done. Great value for the price.
