Alva One size pocket disper
I am a first time parent but have always expressed an interest in cloth diapering. I am new to this whole thing and realized there is a learning curve (with clothes diapers) and I am still trying out many different types to find the right one for my child.I waited until my child was about 10 pounds before attempting to cloth diaper. After looking at the newborn diapers I found that it was not financially viable for myself and noticed that the all in ones tended to be big and I didn't think they would fit correctly for a 7 pound newborn. At this point I have tried the shells or cover only style the all in twos and the pocket diaper. This Alva is the pocket diaper style.these are the factors I took into account when writing this diaper: affordability, ease of use and style. In my opinion I would say this diaper is pretty affordable. It was about $10 and it comes with 2 microfiber inserts. ask for ease of use anyone who is familiar with pockets toilet paper will have no problems with this its the same as more expensive it has the pocket that opens in the back with a pretty wide opening and it's easy to insert the microfiber or other style of insert. The liner that goes against the baby's skin is very soft and I have had no problems with breakouts when I use it on my child. As for style the colors are vibrant the elderly shill has something of a polyester feel but it is pretty soft and while it has two rows of snaps it is pretty manageable and fits well.At this point I can only compare it to my Kawaii baby pocket diaper. I would say the inside is a bit softer and the pocket itself it a bit bigger (as well as the inserts) because while the Alva is one size, Kawaii comes in two sizes.well I cannot say for certain that this would be comparable to the more expensive brands of pocket diapers it seems likely so. It has good construction and is well made. the seems are good and snaps are placed correctly.I give this a 4 simply because it is not my preferred type of diaper. I find pocket diapers to be a bit cumbersome and not as convenient.I have added a photo of the Alva and the kawaii for a visual comparison.

Not really fleece lined and hold onto stains
The Alva Baby pocket diapers have cute designs, but I don't like them for the following reasons:- The fleece is not really fleece, it is very thin and not very soft.- It holds onto stains. I cloth diaper 100% of the time and these are the only pocket diapers I have that hold onto stains and don't wash well. For comparison, I also use Kawaii Baby Pockets for Heavy Wetters and those do not have either of the problems listed above. The fleece is very soft and they wash easily. The only reason I'm giving the Alva's two stars is that they do dry quickly (1-2 hours line dry compared to overnight for the Kawaii diapers), but I don't think this is worth the less-soft fleece.

They are easy to adjust to a wide range of sizes
For the price point, you can't beat these Alva diapers. They rarely leak, hold up well in the wash, and are very cute. They are easy to adjust to a wide range of sizes, and the two extra inserts that come with them are pretty good quality. I've been able to double up inserts and use this diaper as an overnight without any problem. The only thing that I don't like is that the elastic can get kind of tight, leaving a mark on the baby's back and/ or legs. In order to have it adjusted with enough snugness on the belly area, this problem can't be avoided. It's not enough to make me quit using the diapers, just enough of a nuisance to dock a star. I've purchased a dozen or so of these Alvas, and they are a good quality diaper at a price point that makes it easy to build your stash. :)

Good for a cheap diaper
I heard great things about alva baby for cheap diapering, so I ordered this just to try since it was the cheapest at the time. I haven't really had leakage problems, but I don't usually use the inserts that came with the diaper. I usually stuff it with a flat diaper, like I do my bumgenius. It fit's my 25 lb toddler well, still with a bit of room to grow, and the snaps are well placed to keep it up. My main complaint is that the inside of the PUL is sticky when trying to stuff it, which is frustrating because it is difficult and it's sometimes hard to the get inserts in without twisting and bunching up. Other than that, the diaper is fine.

Exactly what we needed.
My daughter was over the moon to have a 'FROZEN' diaper. As she is potty training, we use this as a night time diaper. She is almost three and very petite, 32 pounds. There is one snap left on each side to expand. One five layer charcol bamboo liner kept her skin dry all night and no leaks!

These diapers have been great so far
These diapers have been great so far. I don't prefer pocket diapers since the cover cannot be used more than once, but these are a great value. I have cut slits in the top of the inner liner in order to make stuffing easier. I am considering cutting out the liner on one entirely to see how that goes so they can be used for more than one change. I have more than just the microfiber inserts that came with the order, so it shouldn't be a problem considering the liner doesn't do anything but keep the baby's bottom dry. Overall, I'm pretty happy with these, but still prefer some other covers over these and use them when my better covers are dirty.

Fabulous!
Awesome.Third baby to 'cloth diaper'.I have bought five batches of five diapers each.I think they're wonderful! Some issues with delivery (got one diaper instead of five), yet Alvababy quickly addressed the issue and sent the rest of the diapers.I certainly recommend and would buy more if needed.
