GUNMATE Buttstock Shell Holder Black Shotgun, Card

It's a nice tight fit on the stock of my 22 gauge Remington 870 shotgun. The shells are also a good fit. The shells don't interfere with my grip and the elastic against my cheek isn't a problem. I've had something similar for years on my 10 gauge shotgun. I can't answer to durability but see no reason it would come apart.I keep the shotgun unloaded by the door. I need it handy because I live in the country and there are wild dogs and rabid small animals around. My wife is happier with it completely unloaded and this shell holder makes it quick and easy to insert one shell at a time when needed.

It works perfectly and is a cheaper yet identical option to other very similar item. Put this on a cheap bedside 12ga shotgun with a decent but also cheaper recoil pad and was able to fit snuggly, and without overstressing the material, after inserting a cut and fitted foam pool noodle to act as a cheek cushion. For its price, it's a perfect, simple and a cheap option.

I have this mounted on a 20 ga Mossberg 500 Pump. If the tube section would have been made about 1/4-1/2" smaller, this would have fit like a glove, but instead the area near the pistol grip is a little loose.It does function and work like advertised, but could have a much better fit, if it was made just a hair smaller.

I received this item today. Had it on my shotgun in about 15 secs. I notice a lot of people saying that they are taking off the recoil pad and all to get it on the stock. I just slipped it over the barrel and it went easily over the forearm and trigger and up onto the stock and then I just pulled it back to where I wanted it. Piece of cake. Very nice quality and beats buying an ammo holder that you have to take out your pin and put in a bunch of screws. This does the trick.

If you want a butt stock shell holder that will fit on your gun and work, you can be assured that this one works. I think I have a relatively large stock and it fits, I put it on from the muzzle end rather than stretch it over the end of the stock.

This fits my Benelli nicely! Holds the shells very tightly. However, sometimes it does slide down the thinner part of the stock, making me have to pull it back up.

The shell holder comes fairly tight, which allows you to stretch it out and fit to your stock sungly. I am using it on this:  Mesa Tactical Urbino Stock with Limbsaver Buttpad for Remington 870/1100/11-87 Shotguns  which has a fairly quick change in the thickness of the stock, the shell holder shapes to this almost perfectly. I'm sure on a more traditional stock with a less dramatic change in thickness it would work even better. Sturdy construction, would definitely recommend.

So let me just say to you, it fits great, looks good and holds shells....What else do you need? I bought one for my father and myself, we both own a maverick 88 that holds 8 shells and now we have five more on the stock! Good buy, great price!
