RAK Laser Tape Measure 2 in 1-98 Ft Laser Measure with Digital LCD Display and 16 Ft Measuring Tape in Both Inches and Metric - Perfect for DIY, Construction, Handyman

Quite pleased with this product thus far. I have a lot of other tape measures that are 50' long and weight a lot less but weight is not an issue for me.Pros:- The tape itself is very soft/pliable without kinking it so is absolutely awesome!- Retracts without issues- Magnetic end is useful when working with metal studs but otherwise is not necessary.- Tape won't retract unless top or bottom button is pressed is something I find helpful actually. Means I don't have to lock it constantly which is opposite all my other tape measures and I am quite liking it.- Relatively comfortable shape for my hands (will differ for others) but its not a square and has soft edges but aesthetically and physically.- Orange color, this is something that draws me to equipment, yes I'm biased but I like how it looks.Cons:- Weighs more than most of my 50' tape measures (not an issue for me but can play a role in an already heavy tool belt)- End of tape does not easily catch given how "pliable" the actually tape is which makes it difficult for me to hook it on a 2x4 a distance away. It essentially catches but them slips off too easily.- Seven feet is all I can get out before it "breaks" (for those of you that know what that means)

This is now my go to tape for everything I need to measure around the house. It's easy to read, not only do you have the topside of the tape but the underside. The topside has fractions, inches and feet all easy to quickly read. Also on top is a metric measuring tape. The underside is your standard inches and feet. The metric measurements come in handy when trying to figure out how big something is in the "Today's Deals" at Amazon when the measurements are not in inches.

I really like this tape measure so far. It has measurements on both sides. Is easy to read. Fits in the hand nice and does not feel too big. The magnets are pretty strong. I was not sure if I would like the auto stop feature but I am getting used to it and think I might prefer it. I hope the auto stop does not wear out over time. I would recommend for sure. The other tape I was considering was a similar Klein brand. Glad I chose this instead. The numbers could be a little bigger like the Kline I almost bought.

Needed a tape measure for around the house use. This works perfectly. The action is smooth and the locking mechanism has a very sturdy feel. The actual steel ribbon is the right gauge and doesn't wobble all over the place. The construction is solid and has great ergonomics. Would definitely buy this over other brands

Enjoyed the quick laser measurements for rough long distance measurements. As with any laser, accuracy will be dependent on the "line/angle" and a steady hand. That said, measurements were accurate. Unfortunately It only lasted the initial charge, upon battery running out, and 2nd charge unit failed to charge and laser is no good. Suspect the lipo battery and currently using the tape measure "old school" method finding that I do miss the laser for certain measurements.

This is the best measuring tape I've ever used. The magnet is stronger than I expected and I love that it can hook onto things from either side of the tape. The lock works great, it has a super handy clip on the back and a strap for carrying it from place to place as well. 25 feet is a good length for me personally because I'm primarily going to be using it for measuring rooms when I move out in a few months.

I like most things about the design except the self lock feature usually slips eventually on long measurements and there's no other way to lock the blade. Wish it had a secondary lock. Also wish it was 30 feet long or more. Great shape, size, and construction.
