I love these biotin supplements. They are actually very small and I can swallow them very easily. I take 2 a day since 10000mcg is the daily recommend maximum intake of biotin and my hair, nails, and skin have seen a significant difference.My hair suffers a lot mostly because I love to experiment with color and bleach my roots every 2-3 months. In the past when I did this before the biotin I noticed that my hair was stunted in growth. It was hard to even grow a quarter of an inch a month and it was stressful to see. I tried everything from eating better to not touching my hair all together but it didn't help much. After introducing the biotin to my daily routine I can say that the biotin now helps me grow 3/4 of an inch each month. I can comfortably get a trim from my trusted hairdresser and not have to worry about my hair not growing. I used to have thin hair to where my scalp was noticeable but now my hair has grown out thicker and more strands seem to be growing out and you can no longer see big gapping holes in my hairline. I will say that although the hair on my head grows faster, the hair everywhere else does as well. I don't mind that so much, but for those people who don't want to keep up with shaving then I would not suggest this for you.My nails have never been brittle, but before the biotin I would say they were average. I never worried about them chipping but after the biotin my nails are absolutely amazing. Not only do they grow very fast, but they are also rock solid. I cannot bend them and they cannot be peeled or picked at either. I do notice that when I have to cut my nails that if I'm not careful they do go flying off because I need to apply so much force to cut them.My skin has also seen great improvements as well. My skin before was a sickly pale color. I'm fair skinned so everything is completely noticeable if I have a problem. Ive gone through severe acne as a teen, I still have redness around my noise and cheeks, I still suffer from acne as an adult, And I produce more oil than you can imagine. I've always had problems. Before buying I was wary of all those reviewers who commented that buying this for acne prone skin was a bad combination, but I did not have that problem. Although I do suffer from acne, it has calmed quite a bit, but the biotin actually helped the health of my skin substantially. I have a nice, healthy color now, my skin isn't as oily, and I have less breakouts since starting the biotin. For those of you who are scared of the biotin creating breakouts and cystic acne I would recommend boat loads of water. I will say that I am not shy in the amount of water I consume. I estimate a gallon everyday. I actually tested my theory out to see if water played a role in creating the acne. I purposefully drank less water than I normally would and lo and behold cystic acne appeared. They were painful, but once I began to consume the amount of water I would regularly I noticed no acne and the cystic pimples that appeared started to shrink.Overall, drink a lot of water, expect to see changes all over your body, and if your having a bad reaction to the biotin then stop taking it. I know that what works for me will not work for everyone, but I love this product and recommend it to anyone who is looking for stronger skin, hair and nails.

Trusted brand and excellent product. I use multiple things made by this brand but I’ve used their biotin the longest of any of them. I’ve definitely noticed benefits with my hair skin and nails. Will continue to purchase indefinitely

I just started this product today, however I have very high expectations of it because of all the good reviews.So far this will be the 3rd brand of Biotin that I will try. My main interest is to improve hair growth/health although it is also good for skin and nails; but I need it mostly for hair because I have done a lot of chemical bleaching and coloring over the last year -becuase I love crazy bright colors- and I lost a lot if it, of course it got super weak and breaky so I had to cut it short and miss my thick and long hair a lot. So it has been a process of several months of stripping chemicals away, cutting and for sure vitamin intake, so...I started with Natrol a few months ago 10,000mcg once a day which was too high and gave me a littlebit of breakout around the face (before I tried Biotin I read breakouts could be a side effect and that it could be avoid by increasing the water intake which I did not do). Another thing I didn`t like of this brand was the tablet presentation, which was small but hard to swallow and it would leave a sandy texture on the tounge. On top of all that, the good thing was that I did notice a lot of new hair growing out.After I ran out of these first ones I secondly purchased Spring Valley 1000mcg and I was taking 2 pills (2000mcg) 2-3 times a day. These were very small and in the gel presentation which was very easy to swallow and didn`t give me any breakouts, but on the other hand I did not notice much improvement on the hair growth.I am now hoping that with these Sports Research Biotin pills I will get all the good stuff in one product: I got the 5000mcg wich I will take twice a day (meaning I will go back to taking 10,000mcg wich was the intake that gave me noticeble hair growth results), beucase I will do the dosis in 2 intakes instead of 1 that should give the body enouch time to absorb it -on top of the absortion technology they come with- and that should avoid the breakouts, besides I noticed with only one intake that this pill gets me thirsty wich is great because it reminds me that I need to drink more water and that could prevent possible breakouts also.Another good thing that is mentioned on most of the reviews is the gel presentation which is a good size and easy to swallow and I love the fact that they are all free of artificial ingredients because even if I`m not vegan or vegeterian I hate putting a lot of chemicals in my body wich only end up on a lot of side effects.If these pills do end up absorbing better than the other brands I have tried I might even notice an improvement on my skin and super weak nails. It is also important to consume Biotin frequently because vitamins that are soluble in water, such as this one, are quickly washed out of the body and harder to absorb -as far as I know-.I will for sure give an update on this review after I notice the results, as of now this seems to be the best purchase I have done. It is a little bit more pricy than the others but you sure get what you pay for...Just one more thing which is always important: The delivery was on time and the packaging in perfect state.

I’m a skeptic in every product I buy. I read the reviews for this but didn’t have much hope. I’ve been gradually seeing my hair thin. I thought it was due to perimenopause but it was extreme anemia missed by my pcp for well over a year. That being said, I got these prior to this knowledge and my fiancée and I both used it. He has 4C hair and mine is 2C. We noticed the difference in his hair first. OMG!! His hair became so soft!! Thicker and it started to randomly grow faster than it ever has. It went fromThe nape of his neck to the top of his shoulder blades in about 6 weeks of daily usage. My hair has always grown fast, however it grew about 3-4 inches since 12/2024. I also see little hairs filling in the spots where there used to be nothing. I will post pics after I get rid of some of this gray. Ha!If you are a skeptic, you should be. However, I jumped on here to write this review in hopes that someone else is like me… needing some help with hair thinning or even like my fiancée with hard to grow, course hair. It works!
