Excellent Product
This controller came in excellent condition, real GameCube logo & product, 2 tiny scuff marks, though that’s not something you don’t expect when buying a repurposed controller, it’s how you can tell it’s truly original in my opinion. All buttons & joysticks are flawless, no stickiness whatsoever. I’ve also seen several reviews about dirtiness, I cleaned mine when I got it as I do with all used controllers & barely got any dirt, I’d give it about a 4 out of 5 on cleanliness. Keep in mind I’ve only bought 1 but I give it a 10 out of 10.

Works fine for Smash Bros.
Works fine for the most part, but the analog right trigger doesn't work. It only works as a button.

Great Controllers, Nintendo brand controllers are better, even used from a company like this
This company has a great reputation, they are shipped by Amazon, so you get prime shipping, free and fast delivery. All 4 controllers we received looked great, only a little worn, have ~6ft cords, and work great even with extension cords attached making the cable length more than 16ft.These are the extension cords we are using.https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AI7CF2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1We did not test the lower right thumb stick or the D-pad as the games we played didn't use them.We broke out the WII to play Mario Party 4 and found we didn't have the controllers to play the GameCube game so I started looking for controllers. New Nintendo controllers are priced like collectors items, $180+ in my searches, so that wasn't an option. I did see these used Nintendo branded controllers for $32.95, but that would be ~$132 for 4. I didn't really want to spend that much and my thinking was, I don't want used, and I found these which cost less than $40 for 4. Great deal, but you get what you pay for in this case and obviously, we returned those and got these used Nintendo brand controllers and are very happy.https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B002L8W5V6/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1You can notice the difference between Nintendo brand controllers and off brand controllers in almost anything, just having to press buttons fast you'll get better results with the Nintendo controller. But you'll notice a huge difference when you need precision. In mini-games like cheep cheep sweep where you need to be able to walk slow next to fish and trace race where you have to trace the line. We also noticed better results in Dungeon Duos where you go through pressing most of the buttons fast, but especially when you have to use the left and right triggers to blow up the balloon.

NINTENDO BRAND! REMAKES ARE GARBAGE!
Okay, everybody! I know a lotta people are saying it, I'm gonna say it. Buy a Nintendo brand controller and leave all others in the dust!I've been suckered over and over into the cheap unbranded and generic remakes, and if you aren't familiar with them, they usually give out within a few days. The control sticks on cheap remakes are very weak, and usually are already just a little loose when you get them. It takes a matter of hours before you're banging on your control stick trying to get it to work.If you're not familiar with how to tell what version you have, most generic ones don't even say a brand on them, but what you wanna look for is that, on the back of the controller, behind the little circles that have the C Stick and Control Pad, it should have on one side "Nintendo" etched into it, and on the other Copyright text or something etched as well. THIS IS THE GIVER!If you think of the cost, $50 new is not too horrible for a Nintendo brand controller. The cheap ones will cost you about $25 anyway (which is also quite a bit to lose), and the frustration you will endure within a VERY short time is enough. Don't throw your money away. It's better to pay more and have it last, well, a lot longer than a few hours FOR SURE! I've had Nintendo brand controllers come and go, but they always last usually about 2 years or more (probably more). They do feel a lot nicer to hold as well, as the cheaper ones are extrememly smooth, and I've actually dropped them on several occasions (which I assure you did not cause the problems, and I would've been more happy to smash them against my wall if it wouldn't upset my family)

As described
Was exactly what I was expecting. People are not exaggerating when they say these things come to you FILTHY. Buuut the analog was perfecly aligned to the notches and any of the need for deadzones for snapback, the analog stick rubber starting to degrade and get very sticky to the finger pad or the triggers giving me a hard time trying to light shield isnt a mark against a controller this old its just a matter of replacing very worn out hardware.

Look new and function well
Need some new controllers obviously the OG gamecube controllers are the best. These look brand new and have a solid feel. These controllers are used but feel like they are out of the box. So glad I purchased two more controllers from this seller. 30 rock games quality. (Both came in plastic bags.)
