If you don't get it on right before you get the kid's hair wet, then you won't be able to use it. There's no adjusting it after the bath has started. The first try was a huge fail. But the second time, I put my daughter's hair up in a bun on top of her head, fit the hat on nice and snug, then let her hair down before we even got in the bath. Don't spray too much water directly on the hat or you'll knock it down. My kid hates getting water in her eyes and ears and she had a much better experience with the hat protecting her.

Love these for my son! He was seven months when we started using these. He is now 9 mos and his headband has now stretched out a little bit! Be careful when using over time. Ultimately, this makes bath time easier because it keeps a majority of the water out of his face AND his ears (which was the main goal).Our son got a couple of ear infections in a row, so we started using these “headbands” during bath time. He hasn’t had an ear infection since. Little to no water has gotten into his ears during bath time. Highly recommend for a baby product!

This worked lots better than I expected. My 2 1/2 year old daughter recently dislikes getting her hair washed. I’d saw this hat before but dismissed it. Then a friend recommended it. Glad she did. My daughter had only two little trickles of water get in her face. Putting it on the tightest button was perfect. I didn’t think it would snap but it seemed to stretch some. If if was too tight, she didn’t complain and it was a quick shampoo and I even removed the hat once to thoroughly wash her hairline! Oh and once it’s snug enough the ear covers work perfectly also!

Very flimsy and was difficult to keep on my kids head. He hated them. Loved the concept, but wouldn’t recommend for children under 2.

These are a good addition to bathtime for kids that do not like water in their eyes. However, they are low cost and CHEAP! It is easy to break/rip them. Bought the three pack, as I can use one at a time until it breaks. Economical way, especially if your family has a tendancy to rip/break/lose things.

When I wash my child's hair, this cap slips off which has to be the most annoying thing when doing his hair. It's advertised as a cap that stays on and prevents water from getting in their eyes. Would work if it didn't slip off constantly.

This is a hard item to use my daughter is 3 and this was to big for her head it is adjustable but not enough. It constantly slid down right in her face making it worthless I have tried it re times and now just gave up

The concept of this product is wonderful and very useful for my child who has sensory concerns. She has a tough time with rinsing her hair so I was hoping this would help keep the water off her face. The snaps are a bit tough to snap and even on the smallest one it slips off my daughters head.
