KAVU Sydney Satchel Cross Body Bag Shoulder Purse

Love this kavu! It's the perfect size so I don't cram too much junk I really don't need. Instead lining is teal. Super cute!

I love the KAVU Satchel purse... I've owned the same one for 4 years now. Its still in great shape however, when I saw that KAVU released a solid black one, I was super excited and just had to ordered it.I'm so disappointed with it. The purse itself is identical to what I have but so I'm pleased with that. However, the black color/fabric attracts ever little bit of fuzz and it shows. It's so bad I have to use a lint roller on it every time I go to use it. I never had this problem with my other one.I'm returning it for a new color. Love the purse but I definitely don't recommend the black.

I'm a big fan of crossbody bags and I like this one. It's a good size; plenty of room for everything I need but not so big I start accumulating and lugging around stuff I don't need. I like that it has an easy access pocket in the front for my phone and keys. The shark bait print is fun up close and looks almost like a wavy navy stripe from a distance, which I like. The reason I contemplated sending it back is the zipper color. It looked in the photos like an orange sherbet color. I fully expected it to be a bright contrast, but in person it's overwhelmingly neon. Like an orange highlighter. I think I'm going to embrace it and keep the bag, but I don't think the photos really give you a sense of the zipper color.

My new fave purse. I’ve owned a few Coach but got tired of spending a lot of money. I needed one that is better suited for the weather elements. We camp and white water kayak a ton so our truck is always getting wet - we are always getting wet. Leather doesn’t suit our lifestyle anymore once we moved out of the city. I loved the rope on the other style backpacks but they weren’t comfortable on my right shoulder. This is my new favorite purse.My wallet can fit in the zipper section that you see in the first pic. I don’t have to take my wallet out at he grocery store! I just unzip. Very well made. Very functional. I leave my keys attached as well to the hook. I hate looking for my keys so it’s function is pretty near perfect.My only complaint is that it sometimes slips off my shoulder when I’m wearing my winter coat. I didn’t have this issue with my previous leather (Kate Spade) purse. So- It could use some adjusting there. I usually put it in the front seat of the cart while I shop. I also wish it had the rope the other Kavu’s bag have. So cute!

I just absolutely love the pattern Out Foxed with the cute deer, bear, rabbit, squirrel, and fox on it! I'm an animal person, so this fits my personality well! I love the Out Foxed pattern so much that I bought the same pattern in the Kavu rope bag as well as the Sydney Satchel! This is the cutest bag ever! I am a big fan of Kavu bags and have purchased a few of them over the years. I love the outdoorsy look, the canvas/cotton material and how the quality of the bag lasts forever! This is my very first satchel from Kavu, however! All my other Kavu bags are the sling rope bags which I love to take with me to the park, shopping, or hiking! They never hurt my back like most other bags do. As for the Kavu Sydney Satchel, it is easy to wear as crossbody on my little 5 ft frame! It's so easy to adjust and wear on your shoulder or crossbody. The Satchel is a perfect size and not too big or small. I love how it hugs the side of my body and how it stays in place while walking. I do tend to cram my bags full, so having a bag that can handle the weight and doesn't hurt my back is very important to me! ps.. The colors are great on the Out Foxed pattern! It's like a cream tan with a neat neon orange/pink zippers. I honestly cannot tell you whether it's orange or pink. Sorry, I'm a bit color blind. However, I love the tan with the neon and think they compliment each other very well! However, I do not think everyone will love the neon as much as I do! Amazon's image of the satchel doesn't show the neon orange/pink color very well. The bag looks so much cuter in person than in the photo I think! But if you do not like neon colors, you most likely will not like this bag! Because it is a very bright and bold color that only adds to it, in my opinion!

I UPDATE: ADDED a fifth star as after using this bag for a bit the zipper stiffness is better and not nearly as annoying as I had feared. That was the only original issue.I love KAVU. This bag would get 5 stars but the curved shape of the top make the zipper annoying to deal with and I wish it was a little more of a soft rounding like the smaller compartment on the front...the side pockets all have a lot of space, and the fabric is very strong. Overall it's very cute, functional, and strong. The zipper issue might not bother everyone (it works, it's just a strange angle to make a zipper perform).

I love this purse because its simple and the outside material feels durable, making it perfect to use day-to-day or for outdoor activities (has a lot of room inside). I purchased this purse and black so that it would pair easily with different outfits. Lint is more noticeable since its black but I don't have an issue with it. My only complaint is that the zippers can get hung on up on the fabric pockets of the purse. So far i have been able to pull the fabric from the zipper without tearing the purse.Updating my review, the zipper to the inside pocket of the purse is now off track. The zipper always would get hung up on fabric of the purse and the last time it happened, the zipper was taken off track in the process.

Bought this as a gift for my sister.I love this brand, it’s really good quality. She loves this purse and gets compliments on it all the time. She lives in BC and it’s totally the style down there.
