I have two big dogs (+ 50 lbs) and I was looking for a backseat cover for a CR-V that didn't cover the leg area. I wanted it durable, washable, and not slippery. Most seat covers were too wide, made for a larger SUV, or they were the hammock kind. This is still the hammock kind with a twist: made from thick canvas, similar to the bottom of some air mattresses. It seems very durable and waterproof and can be thrown in the washing machine and air dried. (I wouldn't put in the dryer) One side of the hammock is heavier duty mesh across the whole back of the front seats. A zipper allows you to detach it (which is what I wanted). The seat cover is a shade too wide for the CR-V but you can tuck it in and make it work and it doesn't look bad. The seat anchors don't really work on my car, too small but the cover doesn't move around much because of the backing. I like it. Whether it will stand the test of time will have to wait a year or so. I am guessing it will last. Note 1: the mesh has no anchors or ties once it's separated from the hammock, only headrest belts, so you would have to jury-rig it to work as a barrier between front and back once you unzip it. Note 2: the hammock came with a handy seatbelt leash that is about 18 inches long, part bungee cord that you push into the seatbelt (like a normal seatbelt) and has a collar clasp on the other end (very nice, although I am not sure when I will use it). Overall, I would recommend this cover. I am pleased with it so far.

Very easy to use. Keeps my seats protected and the material is durable. My dog is riding a lot more thanks to this product. No more worries of toenail damage.

Seat cover is good quality, fits my small SUV well, and is easy to install and remove. After buying a similar product at the same price from a big box pet retailer, I was so pleased with this replacement. My first one was cheap, thin, ill-fitting, and did not provide a secure place for my 60-pound dog to ride. Also, no tether was included, whereas this one included two tethers. Apparently, there are big differences among this style of seat cover. Khaki color looks very classy on my dark gray and tan interior!

I bought this product in anticipation of my new puppy. Once we got her and started taking her out I was so glad that I bought this! I have a 2009 Audi A4 with leather seats so I wanted to protect them the best as possible. It fits in my car perfectly.The seatbelt that came with this is also great quality, it makes me feel better to know that she’d be as protected as she could be in case of an accident. I didn’t see a point in buying her a car seat seeing that she’ll probably outgrow it in a month or two so I’m really glad I went with this.My only complaint is the sides for the doors, they don’t really have a zipper or any type of fastening to keep them up on the doors so they fall over a lot, but it’s not big enough of a deal that I would return it. Hopefully the material stands up over time!*UPDATE*She unfortunately had an accident in the back seat of my car, she pees a bit when she meets someone new and they came to my back window and she went. But when the listing says 100% waterproof, it's 100% right! It beaded on the top of the material and I wiped it up with a paper towel and threw it right away. So glad I had this!

Of course, my old dog pooped all over it the first time I used it, but it washed up beautifully! It's easy to put on and take off, well-made, and sturdy. An excellent purchase in my opinion!

For the price and material it has worked well. It is thinner so not as durable as in the past with canvas. The hardware on the model being reviewed is not a 5 star quality. Again, the price is why. I've used it during a very wet and muddy winter. Plus side has been the ease of removing and wash.

I purchased this seat cover when I got a car with black leather seats. I didn't want hair or nail marks in my back seat. It is easy to install, and has side flaps that cover the side of the seats and the cracks between them and the floor. My dog hair easily sweeps out. The front flap that attaches to the front seats keep the hair from the main floor.When someone needs to sit in the back, the seat cover is easy to unclip or simply fold. There are velcro'd gaps for seatbelts, and a small attachment that can be used for dog harnesses in conjunction to a seatbelt.The nylon is a bit more slippery than the rubber mat I used to use in the back of my previous suv, but not too bad. I've had this for about six weeks, and my large black german shepherd has been in/on it about 8-10 times. So it hasn't been used much yet, but it still looks brand new, and his weight hasn't caused any tears or scratches in it.

Installed on a 2022 Dodge Charger. Alcantra inserts so definitely will come in handy. Rear headrests are NON adjustable. I had to use S hook carabiners to anchor to the LATCH car seat bracket. Thread the upper buckle to one end of the carabiner and the other end to the LATCH bracket. If you want to go a little crazy find a couple of larger carabiners and anchor to each bar of the center headrest. Center rear headrest is adjustable and you can lower headrest afterwards and will look neat and professional looking. Rest of installation is as manufacturers instructions. Don’t forget to tuck the lower seat loop between the seat lower backrest and lop the seatbelt buckle through the velcro opening.Only rating 3 star for durability since new installation. Will reporting back with longer term and possibly upgrade then.
