Very Rugged and Tough
I am a US Soldier. I use my for all my travels. It has been all over the country, and overseas. I still have it an use it for lugging around all my gear. It is very spacious. I can pack all of my uniforms, boots, bedding, and gear in it; AND, I still have room to pack my laptop, and other electronic and entertainment devices. I love that it has the wheels on one side. It makes it so much easier to lug around airports, parking garages, barracks, and so on. Fully loaded with all my belongings, it weighs about 96lbs. So the wheels make it so much easier to handle. It is works real good at keeping out the rain. I have traveled through some real wet weather. You would think that I would be worried about all those electronics getting wet. Heck no, I have never had ANY rain get inside. Even when I have been put up in leaky tents, lol. It also makes a great card or game table while camping. The only thing that I wish it had was an extending handle to drag it behind me. It has handles but they don't make it easy to drag behind you. I usually just pushed it and it works great that way. Otherwise, I absolutely have no regret buying this rugged and tough box and would recommend it for any soldier, outdoors men, or anyone who travels allot.

as described buuuutttt.....
Exactly what i wanted BUT, if youre anywhere near a US military base / post exhange / base exchage, i suggest buying these for $20-35/ea from there instead of paying this amazon seller's price. All that said, if you know anything about "gorilla boxes" such as this item, these make perfect storage trunks for whatever and are VERY common for contractors working in combat zones in support of US military ops. Although thin, these trucks are very sturdy and can take a beating BUT try to avoid dropping on the corners as these have been known to break/crack under severe abuse.

Clip broke very quickly
I like this trunk a lot as a replacement for the very expensive camp trunks, but the clasp/clip broke almost right away :(Hoping the company can send a replacement?

Good, light-duty footlocker for the money
For under %40, this footlocker was a good buy. The size inside is ample, and the rolling wheels are "beefed up" for durability over rough terrain such as blacktop and gravel driveways. Weaknesses in construction are "light-duty" hinges for the lid, and "light-duty" plastic construction for the faces of the footlocker.By "light-duty" plastic construction, I mean that you would not want to subject the closed footlocker to excess weight (say over thirty pounds). Doing so would bend the shape of the footlocker, possibly even cracking or breaking the plastic sides or lid. Also, the hinge looks like it would snap if the lid were 'flopped-back' quickly or once too-often. This is a lighter-than-average footlocker, and would not be what you would want for shipping overseas, but kept in the bed of your truck for camping purposes, or storing clothing in your attic, it would be ideal. I plan to camp with mine, so I think I made a good purchase!

Reliable storage
While trying to find a way to put all of my Harry Potter decorations and props, I have been using this storage trunk for about 2 years and everything I kept in it is intact and holds up like it should. Definitely recommended for easy transferring and for any cosplayer's dream to place their props and costumes. Thank you!

Was 5 stars, now 2. The new ones really suck.
*** UPDATED TO 2 STARS ***After our first road trip with the new version of this trunk, I have to downgrade my rating to 2 stars. The metal latches don't even work as they are loose and the grommets (or whatever holds them onto the plastic) start slipping off after repeated opening/closing. We have to keep this trunk closed with a nylon strap from Home Depot now! The plastic hasn't shattered yet, but it's so weak and inflexible that we have to treat it gingerly whenever we open and close it. Also noticed now that the caster wheels are cheaper and the new batch will not stack confortably on top of the old batch. WTF guys? Buy this because it's about forty bucks, but only if you're using it for your knitting supplies and storing them in a safe garage.*** UPDATED TO 3.5-STARS ON 09/16/09***So we received the second one of these wheeled trunks and it's pretty sad. Now I know why there are some bad reviews about the product here. The original trunk we have was made of a better quality, more flexible composite plastic. The new one looks like it was cast from a 99.9% similar mold, but it is made of a cheaper plastic and the walls a a few microns thinner. The new plastic feels like it would shatter with force, whereas the old plastic would just flex. So it looks like the company decided to go cheaper and it really shows in the quality of the product. We are taking both trunks on the road this weekend for a 3-week tour and I am not as confident in the product's durability. :(***ORIGINAL REVIEW***This is a really good case! I was between this wheeled trunk and the large Rubbermaid Action-Packer. I looked at the Rubbermaid one at the store, it's really cheaply made and the bubbly design didn't seem to do anything but waste space. Seemed like it would be double-walled in the pic, but it's not - the ridges are just for "looks." So finally, I chose this JTT Brand one mainly because it was less than half the price (I hadn't seen it in real life). After 4 months of lugging this thing around to carry miscellaneous equipment and tools for our musical act, it has really proven to be well worth the money. The composite material bends a little to let you squeeze things that wouldn't normally fit in a more rigid container. The material also can get bumped and dropped without getting dented or scratched. The wheels are smooth - although you can't raise the trunk up very high when you're rolling it, causing you to have to crouch over slightly. The two locking clasps are strong and pretty precise to help the lid stretch back into shape. The one thing I wish this trunk had was some loops/slots for strapping it down to the bed of a truck.

Sturdy storage box for home or travel
Sturdy storage box for home or travel. I have used mine for many years in the back of my pickup. For the money, this is much better than a hard mounted toolbox. The unit is rainproof and sturdy. When not in the truck, I use it at home in the storage shed. The large wheels make it easy to pull and I have not have any issues with the locking mechanism.
