I’m so sad!!! I’ve been using Salon Grafix hairspray in the professional shaping, # 3 style (teal green label) for so many years that I can’t remember. Over a decade, maybe more. It’s always been the perfect balance of humidity control, light hold, soft, and most of all, the most brushable hairspray I’ve ever used. My style would stay in, could brush it out and my hair would be soft, fall nicely until I styled it again. BUT! Last month I ordered my usual shipment great….until I used it the first time. The can was the same, but It was exactly like Aqua Net, if you know what I mean. Super sticky, hard as a brick. And this is only the #3 hold, the lightest you can get. By that afternoon, my hair was frizzy, brittle and breaking off when I tried to brush it. I literally lost the ends off of hundreds of hairs every time I brushed. It looks like I’ve had a horrible haircut from the breakage. I’m NOT KIDDING. I didn’t guess it was the spray. Why would I? There was no label saying “new formula.” Nothing. So, I washed my hair, hot oiled, conditioned… started over. Same results. Stiff, unbrushable, crinkly, brittle hair. I finally called today. Asked if something changed with the formula and she said YES! New formula changes. She said she had received lots of complaints about it. Yet there is nothing on the can to tell us this is a new formula. The damage to my hair says it all!Don’t buy it. You’ll be sorry. And, the customer agent I spoke to said there will be no going back in the near future. They are sending me a coupon. What I’ll use it for, I have no idea. They’ve lost a good customer in me.So sad.
