I've only used this a few times. Be aware that the digital temperature is in degrees Celsius, not Fahrenheit. The first time I used the iron, I thought something was wrong because it wouldn't go past 200 degrees so I went online and saw that Fahrenheit temps are listed in parenthesis. I guess I'll have to make a translation chart to keep on hand so I remember how hot each setting is. The only thing that I don't really like is the very tiny buttons/switches to lock/unlock the iron and turn power on/off. I find them a little difficult to use. The other buttons to make the temperature setting go up or down don't seem as difficult to use. I like that the iron is easy to hold and control, that is has auto off, and nice long cord. The plates are nice and smooth and my hair (rather straight to begin with) slides through easily. overall, I recommend but I guess time till tell if it has lasting value.

My product will not turn on, unless I use a sharp object to press the power button. After pressing the power button many times, it finally turns on. The heat plate is shorter than an older flat iron that I have. The flat iron catches my hair and pulls it out, on the lip between the heat plate and the plastic case. It heats up well. I just don't like how it pulls my hair and is nearly impossible to turn on.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas since she basically stole my "Wet to Straight" hair straightener.Overall it does and ok job, but my daughter ended up keeping mine and gave me this back since I don't use a straightener daily.It heats up quickly which I like, but doesn't seem as hot (even at the hottest setting) as my other one. Also, it doesn't seem to glide through my hair as well, especially at the ends.It will work for my purposes, but can see why my tween liked my Remington better.

So I waited until I could really experience this device. First time I used it, it left my hair burned so I had to turn it down some. I have dark long wavy hair, I live in South Tx, so we never really ever get rid of the humidity- with that being said, when I tried straightening my hair it’s almost like the plates are too small to cover the strand of hair, you hear a pulling of your hair. Also your hair does not get straight no matter what setting you have it on- BUT- it does very well as a curler. NOT what I wanted so onto the next search for a straightener.

Unfortunately, not very happy. I have used this iron for several weeks. It's highest heat 200. It doesn't hold the straightening effect or curl by end of work day. Not good. And I have to pass the iron 6-7times to get one hair section to lay straight. And the static cling effect (no product used, except argan oil the night before)Frustrating waste of time in the morning getting read for work. I assume the limit of higher heat may be the problem? Idk, My hair is med-thick, shoulder length. Very disappointed customer.

I have a one inch flat iron that works wonderfully, it just takes too long for me to use it on a regular basis. This one actually is worse than my expensive one inch, leaving waves behind and requiring three or four passes. I turned up the heat, and while that did improve the straightness, the iron's handle started to heat up toward the plates, giving me less control with a shorter grip area.

LOVE this straightener. The first picture shows half of my hair straight with just one pass and the other side with waves. My hair is pretty much straight naturally so I mainly use it to curl. I was able to do super cute lose curls in about 5 mins. This is the BEST straightener I have ever owned. I also like that the lights don stay on when I turn it off unlike other hot tools straighteners I have owned in the past.

It took me about an hour to do my curly long (top of my bottom). It worked way better then any other straightener. My hair didn’t frizz and stayed straight.
