I bought mine from Warehouse so it was about 12bucks....vs 80 for my authentic pen...which I lost...again....I am mad I ever spent the money on the MS pen...this is just as good...now I will change my rating if there is a durability issue...but if it continues to function like this....yes... I would buy again without a doubt. I do graphics and artwork so Im pretty demanding on my pen. This one has great responsiveness while tilted in natural position. It is slightly off balance vs the MS pen which is evenly weighted. I see this as a plus though for me in that it will hit battery side first and not the nib end when I drop it...I go through nibs like crazy, but it may make your hand a bit tired as you must grip it forward constantly but its a small gripe. Its not magnetic, but the magnet does not save you from losing your pen so Id much rather have the pen clip I can attach something to. I will buy this again should I lose my pen yet another time

Works well. Wish it had the side magnet (then again the MS stylus had one and I still lost it). But, for the price - definite deal.

Can touch the screen for pressing buttons, scrolling. Does not work for handwriting!! I tried pulling up a pdf in Edge, to annotate by hand with this pen. Did NOT work.

I have had this for about a week. I am a maintenance technician in a production facility, so I use my surface, and therefore my stylus, a LOT. So far I love it. First impression, it feels like a quality stylus. It has some weight to it and doesn't feel like it's going to break. It is very accurate and so far seems like it will be exactly what i was looking for!

I received this pen for my surface go as an early Christmas present from my son. It is a very nice pen. Love how it feels and writes. I would recommend this pen to everyone.

I wanted to pick up a pen for my laptop but didn't want to spend a fortune as I didn't know how much I'd use it so I opted for this Penoval Surface Pen. It comes in some pretty neat packaging with some basic instructions, an AAAA battery, a different nib and a tool to switch the nibs out. The pen itself feels good quality and has just enough weight to it. IT is comfortable to hold and works perfectly with my laptop. There is no lag or delay and the action is smooth. The two buttons on the shaft give quick access to delete something and to right click. Really impressed by this, would recommend to anyone!

So I wanted to see how this would stack up.My biggest concern was the magnetic factor, I wanted it to have that as well as being compatible.It is 100% compatible with my tablet (Windows surface Pro) it was way to set up with an easy bilingual set up guide in the box. It's light weight and stylish.Has more of a metal feel than that of the original and still has the magnetic quality.Overall completely impressed.

Bought this for my Microsoft surface as I had lost the original pen. I had wanted to replace with a Microsoft original but those things were too expensive. Looked around for the balance of price vs good reviews and decided to go with Penoval. I am not disappointed! It comes with a good starter pack of instructions, battery and different nibs to swap out. It's sturdy but not too heavy and very close in look and feel to my original pen. There's on pen buttons to allow for easier manipulation of on screen items. Thumbs up from me!

What a lovely pen. Came with a battery, took absolutely no setting up and is enjoyable to use. I still can't draw to save my life but at least now I am, not-drawing professionally. It's very sleek and attractive, a nice weight and seems to be perfectly responsive. For the price, for a beginner like me or just as a pen to tap a tablet with this really is excellent

I've used the Microsoft pen which is really excellent, so this was never going to be as good. But it works well and is easy to use. Accuracy is ok, and it's responsive, but takes more practice than the MS pen. I wish it was magnetic so you clip it to the side of the Surface, but it's half the price, so you should expect some compromise. All in all, a decent alternative.
