At 51 grams (1.8 ounces) with fuel, one of these is not too heavy for me to take backpacking, YMMV...you should realize that in cold weather, due to physics and chemistry and the nature of butane, butane does not have good performance unless you can warm it up - your body heat can do this adequately but in cold weather you should not rely solely on a butane lighter to make a fire, but have back-up methods available.I have another butane lighter with 3 burners, and one with 1 burner. They work just fine and I'd probably be just as happy if these JETPRO lighters had only 2 burners. 4 burners may be overkill for most situations but when you really need to make a fire, I'd rather have too much firepower than too little!

Great looking and efficient lighters for cigars! I like how I can see the gas that it is left in the lighter and how easily light a cigar, even the thicker ones, I also love the fact that this is a pack of two , so we always have one ready to go in case one runs out of gas! I looks very well built and it feels really nice!

From lighting a candle to lighting a camp fire, you won't go wrong with this butane lighter because it will get the job done. Good finish goes along with the seemingly quality craftsmanship to make a solid piece of equipment.My only criticism is that the four burners go thru butane pretty quickly but that is the price you have to pay for a heavy duty flame on a lighter.

Just lost my torch the other day and figured I would give these a shot since they had decent reviews, looks like I was mistaken. They may light after trying for 10 mins straight but after one use I was done being frustrated and will have to go buy better quality. The price sounds good but they are poor from my personal experience. Hopefully I just got a bad batch and it’s not like this for all customers. Wish I wouldn’t have filled them with my butane, what a waste.

This lighter is not amazing, it’s just okay. Yes, it has 4 jets that typically produce a large hot flame.BUT, the lower 60% of the flame adjustment fails to produce any flame. Fuel flows, but the mix in the lower 60% of the flame adjustment is not sufficient to produce flame. The lighting is a little inconvenient, but I move been able to get it to light with in 3 clicks 95% of the time. And as some others have noted it uses butane at a quick rate (my opinion).It will serve me fine for my needs lighting my camp stove or lighting tinder in the woods to make a camp fire. But I’m a bit underwhelmed with the performance of this lighter. It’s just okay.

The media could not be loaded.  This lighter is a monster. It has four flame nozzles. The only thing to take notice is it will use fuel very fast. I bought a large butane but the refill nozzle wasn’t long enough to seal the refill hole, so in order to refill it I have to pop the flame adjustment knob to refill it. This doesn’t bother me because I love this monster. Had to buy two.

Nice thing is for $12, you get a two pack. Lighter is well designed from an ergonomic standpoint but poorly designed from a functional standpoint, ..relating to it's limited use. At full throttle, you get a 1.5" flame. There are 4 burners to this lighter. This is good and bad. Good for lighting your cigars. Bad because it burns through fuel faster than my Hummer and only works at "warmer" temps. Rooms temp it fires up fine. Exposure to cold temps....dead! I had one in the glove box of the truck which in the parking garage during freezing temps outside hits upper 30's. Pulled it out and wouldn't fire. Cold temps effect the gases evaporative condition. With 4 burners the natural evaporative pressure is so low ....this is why it is limited to room temp. I thew that one out and went inside to get the second, worked fine but after 30 min. back in the garage (upper 30's) the lighter started to fail. Back inside....worked fine. I was hoping to use this for 4 season camping as a back up but guess not.I bet if they limited the torch to a single burner, the pressure would be increased enough to be actually effective in a variety of conditions.

I have only used it a handful of times but it seems like a pretty well put together little pocket torch. It does get hot after 20 or 30 seconds of use. Mostly do to a metal ring that goes all the way around the top of it. But for the money it is a good buy. I would recommend it for sure.
