Seems to Work as Advertised
It's always hard to tell if these things are working. There's a light, but the purpose is not to provide light, it's to make noise that's drives off pests, and I don't mean your neighbors or in-laws. The sound, of course, is inaudible to us, so they might just be expensive night-lights. So, lets look at the evidence to see if they actually do anything.I have a problem with lady bugs (or Japanese beetles) and stink bugs getting into the house during the winter (as well as mice, but I don't usually see them). The bugs tend to congregate in the sunny, southern-facing windows. I callously placed these devices right under the windows. :-)What happened was, to me, quite interesting. The little buggers moved away from that area! In fact, a whole bunch of them decided to migrate to the cool, dark, noisy utility room with the furnace and water heater. By the time I figured out where they had gone, their bodies carpeted the floor of the room! So, I have placed one of these in the utility room (and vacuumed the floor). No bug bodies thus far. Yay!In short, the bugs are moving from their preferred areas to areas they don't normally visit. I'm going to say this is working as advertised, and annoying the pests in the house. One other item of note: This isn't a review about the seller, but I want to say that they provided excellent support of their product. One device (out of the six in the box) arrived clearly broken. I contacted them, and they sent me a replacement unit without any problems or hassle. So, five stars to them, as well!

Roaches walked over this product
This product does not help. The roaches walked over this product! Rather, let me tell you what I did to get rid of the roaches in my kitchen. This is what I bought : 1. Multiple Tomcat Glue Traps, 2. Roach Motel, 3. various roach sprays but made by different manufacturers, 4. caulk sealant that matches my cupboards, 5. masking tape, 6. double sided tape. This was the treatment : I cleaned underneath all of my appliances (fridge, dishwasher, stove, washing machine, dryer). It was followed by spraying those cleaned areas with roach spray. The fridge and dishwasher received special attention, because it was clear that the roaches lived inside the appliances, so I sprayed them well, and placed glue traps inside (at the back). Then, I caulked each and every place I could find in my kitchen that had a gap (around cupboards, by the floor corners, wall trimms, underneath table tops, etc.). Finally I removed everything from my cupboards and cleaned them with soap and water. This was my daily maintenance : 1. Cleaned and dried all surfaces in the kitchen with water and soap, 2. ensured that all dishes/cups/cutlery were washed and dried, 3. ensured that there were no wet areas around the dog bowls especially at nightAdditional steps : Baby roaches loved my coffee machine's water tank. So I cleaned it out, and then encircled the coffee machine with masking tape. The double sided tape was then place on top of the masking tape. The idea was to prevent any new roaches from crossing this sticky tape and into my coffee machine. The masking tape was used to make the removal of the double sided tape an easy task, without leaving sticky bits to the table surface.2 weeks later my house was roach free! It is the middle of summer here in Houston TX, very humid, and I have not seen a roach for weeks! Nor have my sticky glue traps caught any new bugs. It was hard work and took a lot of my time, but it was worth it.Again, this product does not help. I tried it for a few weeks without any joy.

Good product
In our yard, we have some fruit trees. We have mangoes, lychees, bananas and tomatoes. During the day, we have many. At night, we have many cockroaches. We have many flies and few mosquitoes. I got home defense sprays from the local hardware store (home depot). Work a little and spray around the house. A little more. Buy these. Easy to use, just plug into any socket. I inserted it into four corners of the house. I didn't really notice it for the first few days. But about a week later, we found even fewer errors. I like this product because it's easy to use, just plug it in and forget about it. I can't hear anything, and neither can my children. So I think it's going to make a super high-pitched sound or something that makes the bug disappear. Once a month, I spray defensive material around the house. It's been about 2-3 weeks since I had this. I think it works well by itself, but I'll continue to strengthen home runs and provide double protection!

Works, but not perfect
I ordered and received these plugs one month ago. I live in the woods and have many unwanted house crashers -- wood roaches, spiders, ants, silverfish, etc. Louisiana was hit twice with big hurricanes and it caused ants to attempt to relocate in the apartment, even though I keep the apartment clean and use plastic, airtight containers for food. After the first week of use, I noticed less ants. And finally, after a month, I don't see the ants. HOWEVER, I have had 3 wood roaches and one big spider show up in this past month. I would say these plugs work, but some pests are persistent and are not phased by the plugs. Spiders were a BIG issue before the plugs, so only seeing one spider in a whole month is truly shocking. Overall, I'd recommend these, but I would suggest pairing them with bug killers to truly rid yourself of pests once and for all.

Good Repellent !!!
It was super simple to use. I got them out of the box and I plugged them on in every room I had. I am used to see a few spiders in the bathroom, but it has been a week that I have not seen any spiders around.I have not seen any other mosquitoes, flies or rodents. It Has a blue light that also helps out if you need to navigate in the house at night (in the dark).- DislikesThe only thing is that it hasn`t been working on June bugs I have around. They get attracted to the light on the device and go near it to die. But for some reason, the noise does not work on them. But the lovely part is to be away form the spiders, so even though the june bugs are not affected by it, just to know that it gets rid of the spiders, I am glad with them. My main concerns was spiders and rodents, so I am happy.
