I would almost give this five stars. This Malay is beautiful the beads are the perfect size, it has a nice weight and length. It's a great quality for the price. However the part that wraps the silk tassel came of and then the tassel itself started to fall apart. I put a rubber band around it and it kind of ruins the look. I don't know when or how it happened. But that's the only reason that I took off the star.Update: Merubeads contacted me about this issue right away. They have addressed the problem and they sent me a new Mala even though I didn't request one. Perfect. I love my mala.

I have purchased the Red Tassel Lava Rock, Amethyst, Tiger Eye, and Howlite Turquoise malas. The other reviews convinced me that these malas are exceptionally well made and they are. The craftsmanship is outstanding and the malas are stunningly gorgeous. I have a large collection of malas that are mostly made from wood or shells, but the gemstone malas intrigued me and I bought four of them. Plus two bracelets. Skip the cheap ones. They’ll just fall apart. Go with these instead. Best on Amazon, in my opinion.9/21/17 update: I have purchased the White Howlite mala as well and, in a word, gorgeous. I love every gemstone mala that I’ve purchased from MeruBeads and I might purchase the remaining ones that I don’t have, simply because each represents different qualities and energy and frankly, I need all of them!9/24/17 update: Per my previous update, I purchased the remaining two malas that I didn’t have (Obsidian Black and Rhodonite) and I now have all of them. Both, like the others, are amazingly beautiful, well crafted, and provide all of the different energies that I need.10/2/17 update: I purchased the Blue Tassel Lava Rock mala and, without exception, it’s as superb in quality and craftsmanship as my other purchases. I now have all 8 of them.You really cannot go wrong with any of them. They may cost more than the cheap ones sold by other vendors, but it’s very clear that they’re all made with care and are designed to last. I recommend any of them. I liked this mala when I first received. I wore it one day, I repeat ONE day, and the tassel came off. Not impressed for the price. The beads themselves are nice so if the mala itself lasts longer I might change my rating but as for now no. The price for this mala is way too much for it to fall apart so quickly.After posting my 2 star review for the tassel coming off so quickly, I received a speedy message apologizing and asking if I would like a replacement or refund. I opted for replacement as I do really like the mala itself and received 2 days later with a handwritten note and a bonus free gift. Awesome service absolutely deserves 5 stars! The message also indicated they were aware of some issues with the tassels and were addressing the problem.Very impressed and happy with such service and will most likely purchase again!

These are verifiably authentic! They arrived on time. The box was unscathed. Very nice presentation. Comes with a nice carrying bag. The weight of these beads let you know they are real. 108 beads. Silk string. I have tried and tried. So many cheap and awful versions out there. Meru is offering you the real thing at an amazing price. I don’t write reviews very often at all. Maybe 5 in the last 3 years. Only when a company delivers an amazing product at an insane price do I speak up. And that’s only because there are so many cheap and awful versions of everything. But if you dig you can always find gold hidden beneath rock and sand and that is what happened here! The Lapis Lazuli stones are beautifully polished in my first set. Beads are of traditional size and themselves, the string and the placement are all according to traditional standards. These would be acceptable to any monk or learned man from any Buddhist region. I was so impressed. I have seen people pay these prices for junk and pay way more for even less, in some cases. For anyone looking for real mala beads, this is it, I promise you.

I am a yoga teacher with a nice collection of handmade malas. I rarely buy them online because I have friends who make them. However, I spotted these on Amazon and I loved how they seemed to be packaged so I got them as a Christmas gift for my mother. These beads are beautiful...high quality, well made and packaged so perfectly. My mother loved it. The entire presentation makes this mala special and meaningful. Well done Meru. I think I am going to get the howlite mala for myself next.

I have called Amazon Prime way before this seller had the opportunity to send me this product which I explained that my situation at this time is fragile after my husband bought me a home for our 4th anniversary, that spending anything else that isn't necessary for s survival at this time is not possible and I did it the 2nd I got the information about my new home, I called Amazon that very day and it looks like I've paid for something I've not gotten. Since it has been a really long time after I cancelled my order for the two sets of Mala Beads, which I explained that I intended to purchase as soon as I was in a better financial position and I think that they are gorgeous even though the pictures of them draw me like a purpose of needing something such as the beads being that I must find the time to meditate on the books I've read about the 40 days of saying the correct mantra that brings you your heart's desire if only you've got the ability to stick with the necessary prayers for what you wish. They are so beautiful that I ordered and cancelled two sets of these beards but I cancelled the first day of the order so I am confused about the necessary of my re review, unless the charge was never removed from my account. I have to say that as soon as I get some extra cash in my hands, these and it's sister beads are mine. I can't wait to see them in person!Blessed be!

My Mala beads arrived very quickly. They were inside a cotton bag inside a box. I love the fact they feel heavy and the tigers eye colours are beautiful. I have used them for meditation already and they are just the right size to move over. I have also worn them around my neck and they hang beautifully. I think the price is just right, as I know from researching there are very cheap ones and very expensive beads out there. I feel very blessed to have found Meru Beads, 🙏🏻 sat nam x

This Amethyst mala is a thing of beauty. It arrived promptly, nicely presented in a stylish little black box with a drawer, accompanied by a drawstring linen carry-pouch in which to place the beads when not in use. The Amethyst crystal beads are cool and calming to the touch. As well as being a visually stunning purple colour, amethyst is reputed to have many other beneficial qualities. The beads are individually knotted on the string for strength. When not using it to say mantras, the mala can also be worn round the wrist or the neck as jewellery. Will treasure this.

I was hopeful that this would be worth the money since its perhaps more expensive than others on the market and when it arrived (the very next day) i was amazed. Very high quality item and beautifully presented. I love it! Will be ordering others in the future without question.

Well packaged and has a nice weight to it.Makes a fab gift.Only niggle is the stones are tight so the drop is slightly wiggly...over time this works itself out.I would certainly but this product again.

Happy with this purchase. I wear them everyday while working as a reminder to be aware of my thoughts and actions. I feel good overall and will use it for meditation as well.
