Koh-I-NoorMAGIC 3406 Jumbo Special Coloured Pencil in Blister Pack

My friend had a set of 3, but I found this set of 5, and I LOVE (4x) THEM

The pencils are a gift and they are perfect. However, one of the reasons we subscribe to Amazon Prime is because items we order are delivered to our door. I didn’t appreciate that my item was placed in a locker and I had to go to pick it up. We are both approaching 80 and it is no easy feat to drive anywhere. I thought lockers were used for people who requested their items be placed in a locker; perhaps they are working and worried about porch pirates.

Wanted to try these for so long, found they are somewhat fun for detailed coloring pages but I got a less detailed, larger area coloring book and they are more fun there. I’m trying to enjoy the randomness of how color goes on, I’ve seen others do more controlled coloring with these and I’m not trying to think too hard when coloring (art therapy for all my illnesses/symptoms) and I’m really happy with the look and enjoyment I get from them. Wish they were more budget friendly but the cores are thick and I go a long time between sharpening.

Great for coloring books and other creative projects. They last a long time.

I like these jumbo sized, triangle shaped pencils. They are all different from each other so I get 5 different color effects. I am able to sharpen them in the large hole of a two hole sharpener, at least the one I have. No complaints about the pencils performance. They are fun to play with and give new dimension to adult coloring books. These remind me of the brands tri-tone pencils in the way they deposit different shades on paper depending on how hard you press, if you twist the barrel, the angle, etc. The biggest problem I have is the crazy high price for 5 pencils. But I paid it so there it is. Sucker born every day. There are less expensive ones on the market that work exactly the same. I deducted one star because of the price. 4 stars.

I absolutely adore these pencils. I have ordered them for over 10 years. I use them until they are no more than a stump, and now my nephews learned about my secret multicolor pencils and blackmail me in order to get them. They're perfect. The pencils, not my nephews.

I had these as a child, found them and brought them to work for my clients. When they were used down to little nubs I just had to look for them and found them! They are awesome colored pencils and the kids LOVE them!

I only gave these pencils a 3 because the colors seem to come out muddy on the paper.I had ordered a bigger set a while back, but they came broken, and one missing, I thought I’d try this set, as it was prepackaged in a cell wrap.They are quite large to hold, and you need a bigger sharpener to sharpen them.Personally, I didn’t care for them, but I will try them on occasion to see if they do better in different books.

This was a gift for mom and she loves them. The width is perfect for her older hands. It took her awhile to accept the multicolour flower petals etc but now she loves “the surprise”. The lead is smooth and easy to use.

Ces gros crayons de forme hexagonale permettent de faire de super croquis très dynamiques . Ce sont des crayons de couleur à la mine multicolore, il est bien difficile de savoir quelle tonalité de couleur va marquer le papier et c est ça qui est sympa.Le corps du crayons fait 10.5mm et ne rentre pas dans la plupart des taille crayons classiques

Da ich die Große Box davon schon habe ind mag muste ich mir diese noch dazu holen und bin begeistert. Sie ergänzen die sehr schön und die Bilder kriegen einen interessanten Look.

Le ho comprate per curiosità e mi sono piaciute molto, tanto che mi è venuta voglia di acquistare anche la scatola da 24, e sto valutando anche la versione acquarellabile (entrambe in vendita qui su Amazon) perché mi sono venute delle idee innovative per le nostre illustrazioni.Queste matite, con la loro particolare caratteristica della mina costituita da un mélange di tre colori, sono oltre che molto divertenti, quasi "terapeutiche" per chi come me è un maniaco del controllo della sfumatura del disegno.Qui semplicemente non puoi controllare il prossimo colore che traccerà la matita in un determinato punto: questo svincola la creazione del disegno dai nostri schemi, liberandoli nel vero senso della parola.Il colore "Neon" è molto bello su bianco mentre perde sulla carta nera, essendo i colori molto trasparenti.Il "Tropical" è il mio preferito: dà delle sfumature fantastiche sia su bianco che su nero.La matita "America" su bianco perde la sua caratteristica particolare: contenendo il bianco, rende molto meglio su carta nera, mentre su bianco si perde.Il "Fire" comprende le tonalità dal giallo all'arancio.Il "Classic" è un po' più dissonante perché unisce i colori blu, rosso e giallo: lo trovo perfetto per le ombreggiature.La pastosità della mina è omogenea per i cinque colori: sono molto scriventi, comodi e robusti da usare anche nel caso venissero utilizzati da bambini piccoli.Allego la palette sia su foglio bianco che su foglio nero (entrambi Fabriano) con un velocissimo schizzo che ho fatto per testare le possibilità espressive di questo medium grafico.Cinque stelle meritate.
