NOT khaki, zippers VERY noticible
These are NOT khaki. At best they are tan, but more accurately they should be called light brown. The zippers are far more noticeable than the photos. Very misleading item description related to picture (for the “khaki” pair). However fit and construction are very good. Not certain about water resistance (I returned mine due to color) but general impression is they are likely good, but maybe not great. Other impressions imply these are good pants.

works perfect
My pittie gets his evening walk 7-days a week....rain or shine, we are out there. I tested the pants in light rain to full down pour with high winds and they did the job and kept me mostly warm and %100 dry. With my water proof breaker, only hands, feet and face get wet. I am working on getting the rest of the gear. My pittie has his rain coat too.

Just a bit on the large size, but great product for the price.
These pants are incredibly comfortable and very nice and warm. They're not "waterproof" but fairly water resistant and make a great outer layer for winter camping. I thought that they ran just a slight bit on a large size but that's not necessarily a bad thing if you want to put another layer underneath. The belt that comes with them is pretty useless, but that is definitely not a deal breaker. I looked at pants with similar features at REI. Those were of course the big name brands and probably would prove to last a lot longer than these, but they're almost 2 and 1/2 times more expensive. My primary use for these would be winter car camping and winter photo excursions. For that type of use, these will work perfectly. Wouldn't want to use these to scale Everest, but then again that's not what I'm looking for. If you're looking for a decent pair of wind/water resistant, semi-insulated pants for some winter activities at a reasonable price, these are a pretty darn good deal.

Run a little big
Read reviews, and most everything people said is true:- I usually wear a 34 in jeans (getting chonky, getting a lil tight), these had alot of waist and thigh room for a 34- That diagonal seam over the kneecap can be an issue, but I didn't mind it, especially with the aforementioned extra leg room. I only felt it while driving/sitting long periods of timeI bought these for a weeklong trip to Iceland in October. Walked around/behind waterfalls in them, and they did not disappoint. Also kept me warm all week. My only minor issue is the thigh pockets - I tried to use them while out and about to hold my cards/cash, and it was awkward getting them out, due to them going back around the outside of the knee instead of towards the inner thigh, above the knee cap. I know it makes sense - we I stand, the pockets feel right, but when putting your hand in them, you have to bend your wrist outwards and back to get in them. No big deal, just wouldn't use those pockets. All in all, did as I wanted, and the reviews helped me pick the right size!

Fantastic Travel Pants for Cold Weather!!!
I bought these at the last moment for a trip to Iceland. I have traveled there before but a huge polar dip was coming in making it colder than I'd ever traveled in...The pants fit PERFECTLY. They were so comfortable and had some elastic in the waistband for those holiday meals :) We ended up wearing these every day for a week with a wool underlay because the weather got insane- and we would have been in big trouble without them. We never got too hot in them, and the zip pockets were so helpful for keeping ID and a Visa card in bc it was so cold-we didn't have to root around in our bags. We had hail, snow, blizzard, winds of 35-70 mph and the pants kept us totally solid. One of the best investments I've ever made for a clothing item!
