one of the units is defective .balance volume stays only on one side every time starting car

I bought 2 units, none of them came with a DIN cage, had to improvise a bit to mount them in both vehicles. Both came with a software issue where the sound balance was resetting to only one side after each reboot. I could not download a firmware upgrade online. Contacted support and got it by email which fixed the issue.At some other point, the unit would not turn off and drain the car battery unless I removed the unit from the dash to unplug/replug the harness.One of the units randomly connects or does not connect automatically to my phone by Bluetooth. When that happens, plugging the wire does not get out of wireless mode and I need to turn the car off and on again to retry often 4-5 times until it connects.It has been 9 months now and one of the units just made a loud noise and no longer turns on even after doing a reset and unplug/replug. That one looks dead now. I'll contact their support to see what they can do with the 1year warranty. Given I am in Canada and got it from US, I wonder if shipping back and forth may cost more than the unit price anyway...I'll update the review after that support contact...It took about a week of back and forth communications but I was able to buy a better unit in Canada and they gave me a discount due to the defective unit withouth me having to ship it back. I am extremelly happy with the new Unit.Overall if you are looking for an inexpensive unit, this unit is good for the price but has some glitches here and there and is obviously worth what you pay for. But amongst the inexpensive units, I would highly recommend Eonon due to their great customer support! Now if you can afford to invest a bit more money, the real Android units (still from Eonon) are of much better quality than these inexpensive Linux ones.

The media could not be loaded. It's so easy to use ..and it so Quick..and the gps is great

Had this head unit installed for less than two weeks. Buttons quit working on the front of the unit and volume would not adjust. I contacted the seller and they offered to send a refurbished unit as a replacement. I could understand this as a replacement after 6 to 8 months, but not after two weeks. I would not recommend this product as the seller will not stand behind it. I’m very disappointed because I have three other eonon head units and they have been good. The customer service alone is the reason I will never purchase another head unit from eonon ever again.

I see some back and forth comments about this product, but if you keep in mind the drastic price point between this radio and other double din units, this one is amazing. Carplay, android auto, and all the other radio features for ~$60 is unheard of. Sure the wireless connection is spotty but I plug my phone in anytime I'm in the car always. The are a few times the audio defaults to only left speakers and I have to correct it. This using it in a vehicle I only use sometime and mostly for long drives. If i was getting in and out, turning it on and off everyday I could see these things being annoying. All in all I would buy this for any second vehicle I have

At this time I give it a 5 star rating because it is great for the price and is very easy to operate. Makes my stock speakers sound great and the apps are great to have at a touch of a finger. I would buy it again.

Very smooth ! Not like the other Chinese head unit that use zlink app to mirror apple carplay.... I have not set up the backup camera as yet but zero complaints! Bring life to my 08 car

I bought this unit during Cyber Monday, thinking it was a great deal for wireless Apple CarPlay. After installation, I was impressed by the display quality and responsiveness. The wireless feature worked well and automatically paired with my '05 Volvo XC70. However, after a week of use, I began to encounter some bugs. Since my car uses a CANBUS system, the buttons on the unit wouldn't light up when it's dark, and I had to go into the settings to turn on the LEDs. I wish they would just stay on automatically. Additionally, there's a bug where after the car has been off for a day, the balance settings change to play audio only from the driver's side speakers. This is incredibly annoying and I have to go into the settings to change it back to normal. The sound quality is good and the speakers get loud, but it's not easy to adjust the bass settings. The worst issue I had was that, about three weeks in, the Bluetooth completely stopped working and I couldn't pair any devices. This means that I had to use a USB cable for CarPlay, defeating the purpose of buying a wireless unit. If you want CarPlay with a nice screen that is affordable, this unit might work for you, but be aware of the constant bugs. Sometimes it's better to pay more for a quality unit that isn't buggy.

It worked as described in the site for few days and it starts to act weird first the physical button stopped working and then the software on pressing the home and the app drawer on the touch screen it goes to radio without any reason. Please don't buy.
