nice flavour and aroma

The aroma is beautiful, clean and earthy and so is the taste. I make this in a Turkish coffee pot (Cezve), the coffee is smooth and tastes amazing. I’ve never liked coffee and bought this as a Father’s Day present but since trying it- I’ve love coffee now. The colour is lovely and it’s definitely worth buying. It’s a small packet but has lasted me a good few months as you only need a little bit for great taste.

There was cardamom bits that float at the top after it was cooked- the cardamom should be more finely ground in the coffee. It was annoying to drink. The coffee itself was really good though had a nice deep flavor to it. I think next time I would buy the non favored and add the cardamom myself.

This is not the thick Turkish black coffee you might imagine. This is a really refreshing, subtle, safron-yellow coffee that reminds of Yemeni “qishr” (coffee husk) coffee. It’s the Saudi coffee one can enjoy in coffee shops in the Arabian peninsula - served in a traditional Arabic dallah (coffee pot with beak shaped spout). You need to brew this ever so slowly on a low heat in a jazwa pot (or little saucepan) and not rush it. It’s so refreshingly different from other coffees and For two people I recommend filling a half litre thermos flask and drinking it from the wee small Arabic/Turkish coffee cups also sold by this London based Kuwaiti coffee seller. I emailed them to ask about a set of cups and coffee and they were polite and helpful.

I really had high expectations for that coffee but the taste was disappointing ( burnt coffee aftertaste). The cardamom aroma was great and possibly good quality but it couldn't cover the bad taste of the coffee.

This is absolutely gorgeous! My partner and I wear in Jordan in feb and we feel in love with this coffee there! It smells and taste Devine. The packaging also keeps it very fresh!
