Zebra Fuente - Disposable Fountain Pen - Purple Ink - Pack of 6

I am a teacher, and I grade in either purple or green ink. When I saw these fountain-style pens in purple by my favorite pen company, I had to try them. I use their ultra-fine roller balls exclusively for grading.These have a wider point than my usual pens—closer to a .7 or .9 mm. They are comfortable to grip and well-balanced in the hand. They flex as you write and give you the slightest hint of calligraphy strokes. They’re still fine enough to write most scores in the tiny boxes in my grade book, and they’re fun to use to make my students wonder about them.The ink will smear the tiniest bit if you don’t wait long enough for it to thoroughly dry before you highlight over it. However, if you give it even a minute or two, the ink sets and won’t go anywhere. That’s good news for accidental coffee spills on grade books.These won’t replace my retractable needle-point grading pens, but they’re a fun & useful addition to my grading arsenal. They last quite a long time, which, as an English teacher, I REALLY appreciate. I will probably grab a box of green ink next time they’re available, too. They would also be EXCELLENT pens to put in teacher appreciation baskets, teacher holiday stockings, back-to-school gifts, or for school-wide secret Santa exchanges. They feel fancy enough to be a treat, but not so fancy that you reach past them in your teacher drawer.

I have never used a fountain pen before. I really like it. Writes really smooth. Ink color is nice. Feels good in the hand, light .

I do have a weird addiction to nice pens! If the pen & ink are BOTH purple, I'm even more inclined to be interested! I have realized over the years that I'm not the only one with this affliction, but I am one that tends to buy my own rather than swipe'em from other people! 🤣 That being said, I've started buying packs (when I find one that I REALLY like) instead of singles because I have come across several people who are the 'swipers of nice pens'! 🙄Anyway, these pens are very smooth writing, the ink doesn't bleed through, they're comfortable in my hand, & the color of the ink is BEAUTIFUL! I do prefer a broader nib, but these are pretty good & not scratchy at all. As far as how long they last, I'm not sure yet as I do have many nice pens I've found & purchased over the years. I can say that if closed properly, I've been able to pick it up & write with it even after not having used it in a few weeks or maybe even a month or so, so for me that's a huge plus!Thanks again Amazon for always having a decent selection of brands to satisfy my need for retail therapy sessions! 💜💜💜

These write beautifully for a ball point pen. They do have the nib tip but it is too stiff and does not spread to allow for a true calligraphy effect. The ink is very thin so it bleeds a bit on different types of papers, dries fast enough to not smear. I adore the color purple. 100% buy for daily use.

Great Pens for Your Money.

THE COLORS ARE QUITE STRIKING. I LIKE USING THE INK WITHOUT THE MESS OF AN INK WELL, JAR OR REFILL TUBES. JUST USE IT UP AND TOSS. WILL BUY MORE WHEN I USE THEM UP.

I've never used these pens before so was unfamiliar with them.The product description said the ink was black but the pens all have purple ink.

I like the weight and barrel size. The nib is well constructed and writes smooth. The ink is a good solid color and dries fairly quickly. Great value for the money spent.

I bought these pens to see if I liked purple ink (and I do). They write very smoothly and are comfortable to hold. I'm very happy with them but will probably go for a reuseable option once these are finished.
