Definitely NOT for mask making.This is too thick. Should be described as heavy weight cotton duck.Great if you want to make a heavy duty shopping bag, or stretch it on stretcher bars for acrylic or oil painting.NOT acceptable for masks.Sorry I bought this as I really need Light Weight Muslin for Mask Liners.

I bought this fabric because you were telling us “good for masks” but is not true!!! This fabric is good for crafts specially for frames or something like that. NO FOR MASKS!!! Is not good for make masks like you say in your title about.

There was a previous review that said she had bought this to make masks and that it was not suitable for that but i have to disagree. I used it to make masks and it worked out very well.

I am making protective face masks for use during the Covid-19 crisis. I ordered this because is was described as being suitable for such use. It is not. It is too stiff, too loosely woven, and to easily wrinkled for such use. I'm keeping it only because it's too much trouble to return. Very disappointed at misleading description.

Decent quality muslin. I will be using it to make mock-ups for my sewing projects. I would not recommend using for face masks as they say you can if you’re expecting any kind of protection from it. Would be about as effective as making a mask out of burlap.Otherwise it feels very strong, stretches a small amount on the bias and almost none on the straight grain. I haven’t tested it yet but I’m sure it would be good for sewing projects.What arrived was pretty much exactly as described. 3 pieces of fabric about 2 yards long and 17 1/2 inches wide.
