All the great things said about this product are true!
We purchased these in the summer of 2016 and have used them every day since. I had not been able to find dish drying towels that I liked until I found these. They are exactly the right size, perfectly absorbent, and highly durable (consider how often I use these and also the fact that I wash them in hot water with bleach every time and they have not faded at all). If you are looking, like I was, for the perfect dish drying towel and if you are exceptionally picky as am I, then you must choose these!

Good looking and feeling
The towels are exactly as pictured. The cotton is soft and absorbent and seems quite durable. They are well made and are just like the old fashioned cotton towels that used to be.

Great quality towels
These wash and dry really well, and embroider well too. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Not perfect, but are fine for everyday use.
Contrary to some reviews, my towels are absorbent and do just fine( I did machine wash and dry mine before use).Contrary to instructions, I washed mine on hot(125F per my handy thermometer I bought on Amazon ;) and also contrary to instructions I put them in the dryer on hot and they came out fine, some people reported that the color stripes bled on the white material, but I didn't have a problem with that. Some reviewer mentioned they shrunk, I mean they are 100% cotton, what do you expect? I didn't measure them, as shrinkage is not a concern of mine.I use these to dry my hands to save on paper towels and to dry dishes, and they work fine for me.There were some imperfections with them. Some of the towels had a thread where a small length of the thin thread might be dark where the bleaching process didn't totally whiten the thread(that's a guess at the cause, I don't really know for sure, I'm not a textile expert). It is noticeable if you study the towel, but not a big deal to me. On one towel some the fabric was rough and raised. Did these imperfections come from my washing and drying on hot? I don't know but it's ok because I'm going to wash on hot but maybe I'll reduce my dryer heat by one setting. For the money I paid, the imperfections are acceptable to me. The other towels I was considering were much more money.I use these for everyday drying. If I had a guest over and thought they might inspect my towels(you know any of those people? lol), maybe I would go with a slightly higher quality towel, but for my needs and every day use they are fine. I consider them a good value for everyday use. Also, I did want to hang these on a drawer knob(about 1.25" diameter) by my sink but the loop is not large enough for that, not even close really. I tried stretching the loop and heard the threads popping, whoops! (I'm a guy, we test things!) Some loops are larger than others but none would go over the knob.Sidenote: I noticed a lot of the reviews here weren't even for the above listed towels(13 pack, white with stripes). I wish amazon or the seller would straighten this out for us.

Great towels. Know what your getting tho
These are smoother thin cotton and not terry cloth towels. They are more like "Flour Sack" towels albeit these are heavier then those I've purchased labeled as such. They ARE 100% NON-PRE-SHRUNK cotton and just like a pair of jeans (from my day) they do shrink if dried in the drier. I knew what I was ordering and I am very pleased. These are thin, lint free and awesome for drying glassware and crystal. They're also good for baking French bread (working flour into them and using them to separate the batons while rising)I expected them to shrink so I wasn't upset (they shrunk about 1/2 - 3/4 inch). I didn't buy them for decorative towels and if I use them with bread making I do use a bit of bleach when washing them so I won't comment on the stripe colors. I believe they can be successfully embroidered but if you think the user will use and dry them in the drier, I would certainly wash and dry them first.Like most towels I've found the absorbency of these towels improves after the second wash.I NEVER use fabric softener on kitchen (or bath) towels. If you get the laundry soap out of towels, I've found you really don't need it. I use plain white vinegar in the rinse cycle in place of fabric softener on ALL of my towels. (And NO, your laundry doesn't smell like vinegar) Fabric softener coats the towel fibers and doesn't allow water to absorb. Yes, fabric softer makes towels soft and fluffy, but also makes them resist the water (like wax on your car). I will toss a 1/3 of a fabric softener/anti-cling dryer sheet in with a load of bath towels, but anymore than that and they become a soft, good smelling squeegees...not towels.I will buy these towels again.

They’re nice!
Purchased these towels to do machine embroidery on. They washed and dried nicely and they’re a little heavier than your usual flour sack toweling. I’ll definitely be buying more because tea towels make a thoughtful gift for showers, housewarmings, etc.
