As a nurse I'm writing all the time, charting notes, writing reports, etc. As a shooter I love that it's a 308 cartridge turned into pen that not only looks great but writes smooth As silk. The pen has a nice weight on for durability and perfectly balanced for comfort.

I’ll be honest I didn’t know exactly read the full item description so I was surprised when I received this pen. I didn’t realize that it was actual fired casings turned into a pen. The quality is amazing and the case just made it that much better! I got it for my boyfriend who before we started dating we were exchanging cool pens that we would find and he is a gun nut. So this pen was absolutely perfect! I was so excited to give it him that I just couldn’t wait for Christmas! He LOVED it! Said he doesn’t even want to take it out of the case because it’s so beautiful and the coolest pen he has ever seen!

It has a heavy feel and very nice finish. You can tell it's if good quality.

Bought this for a gift for an LEO buddy. I engraved his name and patch on the barrel with my fiber laser. Overall it's a neat gift set, but I question if it's really a .308 casing. I've engraved brass and brass plated stuff before, so I know how it reacts with my laser, and this reacted exactly like plated material. And the case seemed too thin for a true .308 shell.Overall, I'm satisfied.

Got this as a secret Santa gift for a coworker. The quality of the pen was very nice. Solid pen writes well and the gun case was an awesome extra, it was worth the extra couple of dollars. May be getting it again
