Hose was to be 20ft. long. It is only 15ft. long. I was told that it will stretch to 20ft. Ha Ha !!

I bought this hose to clean out our heating supply ducts and our drier vent duct. The hose was perfect for both. Long enough for our runs plus flexible and durable. Perfect for the job.

Just as other reviewers state this in NOT 20 Feet it is 15 Feet which is basically all that I needed anyway. It is a perfect fit for my 5 gallon shop vac and that to me was the most important thing. I took off 1 star for the misleading description. For the price I paid compared to other similar hoses I am happy with this purchase.

I ordered this because I needed a 20ft hose.....as others have stated in reviews, it IS NOT 20 feet long..It measures 15ft . The seller now plays word games like 20 ft ( stretches to )....this hose will Never stretch to 20ft ..This hose will not stretch to 16 feet .....the type of plastic this hose is made of DOES NOT stretch. I gave it 2 stars as its a decent looking hose but its obviously mislead on purpose by the seller

This is one tough hose. I bought it to replace the hose that came with my blue-and-grey Shop-Vac from a large name-brand big-box store. The old hose did it's job for years, but ultimately it needed replacement as it cracked and kinked. Since I need to use the vac more for cleaning my pellet grill, I needed a longer hose, and one that didn't leaked - and this hose has fit the bill. It's a much sturdier hose compared to the old one (I wish the old one had been made as well), and the connection fit perfectly in the socket of the vac. Attachments fit the other end just as well. The only downside to the hose is caused by the reason I got it - it's length doesn't allow it to coil up and fit as well inside the cannister of the vac; sometimes I can get it to fit, sometimes I can't. But I'll take that issue given all it's other great features.

I have a 30 year old shop vac that has worked through floods and draining water from a 24 foot pool cover. It has been through a lot and still works great. A couple weeks ago the hose broke off where it attaches to the vacuum. I went to local hardware store only to find out the connection size has changed from 2.25 to 2.50. Amazon to the rescue. Hose fit my vintage shop vac and is 20 feet long vs the original 6 foot hose, which means I can reach farther without moving or picking up the vacuum to reach cobwebs in the rafters. I'm happy.

Only reason for four stars is it is not as long as it is advertised to be. I use it all over my 27' RV it is om a wall mounted Shop Vac about 8 feet form one end but doesn't quite reach the other end of the trailer. So NOT 20 feet. It is probably 15-18 foot.

Arrived earlier than promised and was as promised. As per other reviews I read for this product it needs to be stretched to achieve the full 20 feet of length. As delivered it is about 15 feet long. I anchored one end and then stretched it out the full 20 feet and tied the end and left it stretched for 2 - 3 days. When I left it recoil it went down to 17 feet. I needed to use it and 17 feet is fine for my purposes. I may stretch it out again when I know that I can leave it that way for a longer period of time. Good sturdy hose but yet still light weight. Just what I was looking for.

Vacuum hose length is advertised and labelled as 20 feet. Actual measured length is 15 feet. Contacted seller through Amazon and they replied that the hose will stretch to 20 feet. Stretched hose to 20 feet and and when let go it immediately recoiled to about 15 feet. Actual usable length is 15 feet. This is how the item should be described.

it's maybe 16' being generous but I'm fully happy with it and ordered it knowing this was probably true. I'm not sure of why this deception is occurring, it just seems a little odd.Otherwise the quality is great, it's nice and springy and supple. It's appears to be a little smaller diameter than the shop vac 1.5" hose but that's fine.

Ordered a 20 foot hose and received approx15.4. I'm sure if you get two people to pull in different directions, you just might be able to get 20 feet.. 20 feet is 20 feet not 15 -16 feet..

I just got the longer and thinner hose to use for small stuff and not as heavy as the big hose its a lot better for the car as well
