First off, this isn't as hard to put together as people are making out. Took me about an hour and a half on my own, but what I will say is a good spanner set and a drill will save you a lot of time.Also when assembling a section get the bolts in with the nuts on before you tighten anything up and you'll avoid any issues with holes not lining up.Put your fasteners somewhere safe because there are a LOT of nuts and washers and they don't give you any extras!It's a very good quality set, feels sturdy and is very comfortable. I'm pleased we spent the extra money and went for this one because compared to some of the cheaper sets we've seen in places like the range it's a lot lot nicer.

Ok.. read all the reviews and still managed to press the 'buy' button.Quick delivery and the delivery company did a sterling job under distancing rules... must be costing a fortune! driver in the lorry plus her mate driving solo in a fiesta. He knocks, unloads and she stayed in the cab :)Some peeps complained about assembly.. so here's my take :-Couldn't be easier.. the destructions were easy to follow ( be aware that you need 2 washer's per bolt.. the sheet shows only 1 per!!)The bit that seemed to obstruct many previous reviewers .. alignment!! There are some of the holes that don't immediately align by themselves. They need a little encouragement they WILL align.My tip: use a phillips screwdriver to prise the holes into line, then put the bolt in the other holes and fit nut. remove screwdriver -fit bolt. Pretty straightforward stuff for this type of assembly.If you are only using the tools supplied ...think again.. it will take you absolutely ages to use the supplied Allan key because you will have to remove / reinsert / repeat for an eternity to get anything anywhere near tight. To get over this i used a handy kit which includes a handle that i can fit an Allan key bit to, a ratchet that fits into the top of the screwdriver makes it so much easier and faster to assemble.I built the set solo in about an hour and 20 minutes..Think - Check - Think again. HTHP.S Now the cushions have been unwrapped and placed i have found the covers.. i had forgotten all about the included covers...Very neatly made and are 'tailored' to the units so fit nice and taut no flapping / oversized offerings here.You will have to be careful when removing the cover from the 2 seat unit as the cover is that tight it may / will snag on the locating hook if you are not careful.Further update after a years ownership:Cushion Covers are NOT waterproof... water-repellent yes Proof NO. Saying that the foam drains quickly and they are as good as new again.Cushion Covers: they tend to fade quite badly in the sun... but there again everything does eventually. So _ keep rotating them or remove and use the cover religiously

Assembly isn't straightforward. There is a lot of grunting and swearing involved trying to get the holes to line up.Do yourself a favour. Before starting make sure you have the following.A helper.A 10mm socket and ratchet. An electric screwdriver with the appropriate sized hex bit will speed things along.Spare m5 nuts and longer m5 bolts- at least 75mm, as the ones supplied are either too short to get a nut on when in place or missing altogether.Most importantly- The table, and the covers. Mine were missing entirely. (Still waiting for an answer from Amazon in this issue)The two finished units dont fit together very well, and there is a marked height difference between the two seat backs.Having said all that, once you're done the seats feel very sturdy even with 4 adults on them . If it wasn't for the fact there were bits missing this would have been 4 stars.

My hubs spent the best part of an afternoon putting the chairs together following unclear instructions. When we finally got to the table last, we noticed that it was damaged - corner welding not done properly. We managed to get it together by putting on the leg and bending it into shape, but as you can imagine we don't think it's 100% as it should be. Tried, in vain, to contact a human being in customer services to at least organise a partial refund but only option available at the moment is an automated chat where I can select return. Normally I would do that, but with the time it's taken to assemble we really don't fancy disassembling it and having to reassemble another.

Nice sofa, sturdy and comfortable. First delivery was missing the fixings and instructions. Amazon were brilliant, but it meant a complete new delivery followed by a collection, seems silly when the supplier could have a put a smallish envelope in the post? Never mind, all built and the sofa is nice but I am a bit annoyed that the covers provided are for two separate sofas rather than a corner unit😳🙄🙈 The thought of deconstruction, return, further delivery (uncertain what will be wrong in that package) is too much to contemplate and so we will remain disappointed! It would be good if Backyard Furniture paid a little more attention to detail/quality control when packing!

This is a really lovely sofa. It was quite easy to put together especially with two people and in places found useing a clamp made it easier to push the bolts through and thread the nut on. Once assembled its a lovely sturdy product, a nice height with lovely comfortable deep seats. The free cover is also good quality the only ' bugbear' is you have to separate the two sofa's for the covers to fit as one covers the 3 seater part and one for the 2 seater but is really a minor irritation. All in all we love this sofa.

Abit lost as to how it's taken some people 2 or so hours to assemble this with two people doing it. I did it in an hour (with a cordless screw driver) by myself. Very sturdy, and solid once all assembled. Some holes didn't quite align but once all screws are in and then tightened together the holes line up perfectly.Ordered on the Wednesday, arrived the following Friday morning.
