High Quality
Got this for my Northwoods truck camper it's pre-wired for Zamp. It works great it is heavy but I don't know how you would make lighter with out sacrificing quality. The price is steep in my opinion. But you most certainly get what you pay for.

Does it work with Northwood trailers?? YES
We have a Northwood Artic Fox. It came with a 40 watt panel on roof, along with 30 amp charge controller. It also has a Zamp hook up on side of trailer. Zamp recommended us to check with Northwood to find out if the wiring connected directly to battery or through the charge controller. Northwood confirmed it did go through charge controller. We purchased panel, plugged it in. It works beautifully! Awesome product! Extremely well built. Very durable protective case. Yes cost is a little higher, but you are receiving a high quality, USA product. Highly recommend this panel.

Buy. Buy. Buy!
Prior to purchasing, we had 370 mounted flat atop our RV. We struggled to maintain a good charge rate. As soon as we add this, we were getting equal charge from this 140w as we were getting from the 370w flat roof mounted. It makes a big difference when you can angle the panel toward to sun.
