OXO Good Grips 11-Inch Whisk

This is really cute…but that’s not why I bought it. Sometimes I would like a small, narrow whisk for stirring say, cornstarch and a bit of water, or a spice mixture, or any small amount of condiment or seasoning. A larger whisk is too big for the prep bowl, and the mini micro whisks take a long time and much stirring to combine the two. I find I use this more often than my larger whisks, balloon and flat. I recommend this 7.25 inch whisk for small amounts of spice mixes or for cornstarch/water slurries.

This is great for mixing small batches of spice rubs or marinades; I use it all the time with a 200 ml Rösle mixing bowl. I usually cook just for myself, and this combination is the perfect size.I’ve had the OXO Good Grips 9″ whisk for a long time, and it worked reasonably well, but I was hoping they’d make smaller one—and they finally did. Though the 9″ whisk also works for this purpose, the 7.25″ mini whisk is a lot better in the small bowl.The only thing OXO seem to be missing here is an 8–9″ balloon whisk.

Get your tape measure out before you hit buy - this is SMALL. Not “normal” size. But my bad for not checking beforehand. Is quality and works well.

Best little whisk, no nooks & crannies for liquids to become trapped.

I had to go back to OXO, wore out my previous whisk and bought the plastic/silicon type and they don't whip eggs they way OXO can. OXO metal wires are far faster and more complete mixing! Packs in the drawer nicely, and I use a rubber band to keep the whisk like new.
