Like many others and with many different products, when it's the number one best-seller you automatically think there is a good reason for that. You anticipate receive an amazing product and move along with your life, happy with your purchase because it serves the purpose, and serves it quite well. I am a 180 pound father. Not heavy or out of shape by any standards. First time I sat on the chair and leaned back the wood shredding in half like paper, and I had my 10 month old son in my arms. We fell backward and luckily he did not get hurt. So thank you amazon and thank you Longwood Forest Products for sending me a wooden chair with the strength of a toothpick. And you're welcome for my regard for not sharing multiple expletives.

We purchased this chair for my daughter’s room. It arrived quickly and was remarkably easy to assemble. The snaps were a bit difficult, as other reviewers have indicated, but if you employ a bit of elbow grease and patience, they snap into place quite nicely. It looks great and is very comfortable. Good, sturdy piece of furniture.Update #2: Going on a year of using this chair and, despite regular daily use, it continues to function flawlessly. It’s so comfortable...my husband and I have fallen asleep in this chair multiple times!UPDATE#3: We’ve had this chair for two years now, and it’s holding up great, even with heavy daily use! This chair CRACKED in half while I was rocking my child. He and I ended up on the FLOOR! Do not purchase this product!!!!! By the way I ordered this chair in February.

Have had this chair for 7 months. About 2 months ago it started squeaking quietly when in use. Then it gradually got louder and louder. We tried oiling everything—no dice. The squeaking just grew louder, except now there was an additional BOOM when you sat in it. (To clarify—this chair was used daily by myself and my husband, both of normal weights and sizes. It was used to rock a wee baby to sleep, not in cage fighting.)So this booming went on for a few weeks. The squeaking continued. Two days ago the boom finally graduated to a snapping and the chair broke while my husband was sitting in it. I don’t know much about rocking chair assembly, but apparently a bearing broke? After 7 months of light use.I also agree with another reviewer about its potential to tip over. My 3 year old sat in it (again, no WWF chair throwing) and it tipped backwards. Another day, it tipped forward. Just not very impressed. I would advise to just pay a little more and get a better chair.

I came back to revise my review after using this chair for 5 months. While I love the look and feel of the chair, the springs started popping out after 3 months of use. I've glued them back in several times using different adhesives but they still will not stay. I am 125 lb so I don't think weight is the issue, but it makes me feel bad when I get up and hear the chair break every day. It is no longer useful. I regret going with a cheaper product for something that is used daily, so now I will spend more replacing it with something of higher quality. I don't like posting negative reviews, but I think this is worth mentioning since it did not even make it 6 months.

Have had this chair put together for a little over 3 months. One day it broke. My husband took it apart and noticed that one of the pieces was not sitting right because a bearing was jammed so far in that we can't remove it and fix it. Will be contacting the company to see if they will replace the piece and will update this review to let others know how the customer service is.

Update to review: April 22, 2017I bought this chair in August of 2016 and absolutely loved the feel and perceived quality. Unfortunately, that didn't last. Within 3 months it started to creak, then squeak loudly if I rocked in it at all. I cannot out my kid to sleep if the chair makes horrendous noise Everytime I move.After putting up with the noise for a bit by not rocking in it, I looked underneath and two of the support railings had broken and we're out of their settings. I figured that was my fault since I weight 189lbs and with baby we weight over 200. (Yeah big baby.) So I repaired it, gluing what needed glued, resetting what needed reset. It was a HUGE pain but I felt it was worth it at the time.Had I known that was only the beginning of my problems, I would've boxed it up and sent it back. Since November-December I've repaired the chair a total of 4 times and now as you can see one of the rods has completely broken off!What a piece of junk, if it doesn't even last a year. Ridiculous! Don't waste your money. Pay $10 more and get a Stork one. One of those was given to me as a gift and is still going strong a year and a half later.Fantastic rocking chair! It's comfortable, priced right and versatile. The only issue is that it squeeks a little when I rock, which for me is no issue, but might be a problem for mothers with light sleeping baby's.

The white/grey is nice. Cushions were good, not ripped or torn and are comfy. The box was damaged upon arrival to my house. Unsure if it is related, but the chair was damaged too which is disappointing considering the price point. The left arm had black scratches on it, the back has splinters (resulted in myself getting a large sliver in my finger actually), and under the seat bottom on the right side, there was a chunk of wood missing. See photos. Despite the damages though, the chair is nice to sit in and fits my hubby well. This was a concern as he is a larger dude. It went together relatively simply. Going to keep it, but looking for a replacement as I don't want my son to end up with slivers, like I did.

Por el precio esperaba mejor calidad de los cojines, la tela se siente muy delgada y el relleno muy ligero. Esta cómoda y funcional, pero repito por el costo esperaba algo de mejor calidad. En funcionamiento esta bien, no rechina.

Me encantó la silla mecedora, es muy cómoda, la tela es suave y se mueve fácilmente para arrullar al bebé. La silla tiene unas bolsas a los lados que son prácticas para tener algunas cosas a la mano. El taburete para los pies también se mece entonces es súper cómodo, Las instrucciones para armar son simples y la silla es bonita. En verdad la recomiendo muchísimo para el cuarto de bebé

Es tal cual la descripción, el único pero es que llegó un poco raspada de uno de los descansabrazos y que a mi marido le queda un poco corto el respaldo, de ahí en fuera está muy cómoda y funcional.

Maravillosa silla para crear apego, cómoda, bonita y útil para años venideros. No duden en comprarla, tener un lugar establecido para lactar es una de las claves del éxito de la lactancia.
