Hopefully I just got a huge lemon.
Awful bicycleAlthough it looks awesome, technically it failed starting after one week. The plastic hoses from the breaks and gears got cuts and rips, pedals got stuck after 3 month (both replacements had the same failure), rides incredibly heavy and stiff although the wheels spin freely and easy in the air. But once you sit on something tenses up to the extend that it will stop while rolling down a slight slope. Paint chips, screw rust and folding mechanism unscrews so that it opens up while biking. The good thing: It looks awesome, very easy to fold (under 10 seconds it is my car), compact, light but not super light, saddle very comfortable, has a stand, disc brakes!, fender and rack, good handle bar grips, responsive and good manufacturer service by email - phone not so muchIf wished I had not all those problems - it would have been an awesome bicycle. So, maybe I got a lemon - but what a huge and sour one. Because it was a refurbished bike I paid less. And maybe the owner before saw all the problems coming already and returned it.Luckily the credit card company refunded the purchase.

Excellent product. High tech with superior workmanship. Unexpectly stable and fun to ride. Takes hills effortlessly.
I had never ridden a folding bicycle and I am tall at 6'2" but not heavy at 195 lbs. I chose this bicycle after riding it and seeing how well made it is. The workmanship is uniformly excellent. The quality of the welds is outstanding -- even and solid. Every component is of superior quality. The bicycle fit me perfectly and feels virtually the same as my 26" Trek hybrid. The stability is excellent -- the 20" wheels make no difference. The gear ratios are perfect and the bicycle can be easily ridden up steep hills as well as cruising on level ground. All the quick release handles for the adjustable features can be adjusted. The Shimano shifter worked perfectly out of the box. The disk brakes are very hi-tech and work smoothly. The rear luggage rack worked perfectly with a generic case that I bought through Amazon (Urparcel). The bicycle also has standard screw mounts for a water bottle. Even the kickstand has an adjustable length using a setscrew. The bicycle is also light and easy to handle. Even the colors look great and the bicycle turns heads.I have ridden the bicycle for 30 miles, up and down hills, on bike paths, in cities, on the beach, with no difficulty. The gears are spaced perfectly for all conditions. I normally use the bicycle while my Fiat electric car is charging. It is the only solution for this vehicle and it is perfect. This company also offers a 7 speed version for substantially less money. I tried that also. I found that the handlebars, which are narrower by 2", made a big difference for me in making this bicycle feel more like my Trek hybrid and I like the additional gears. The folks at this company are very nice and it was a pleasure to stop by and meet them. Parts are also available as needed.

I Would Buy It Again
We purchased two of these bikes because we sold our truck with the hitch which allowed us to transport our Treks. We took these bikes to Florida in the back of our Prius with a lot of other “stuff.” We had not really had the chance to ride them, so we were eager to put them to the test. We added bells and rear-view mirrors before our first ride. We were pleasantly surprised at how nicely the bikes rode. Because of the gears, they were easy to ride. We stopped a couple of times to find the exact seat height, which was an easy correction. We eventually marked our seat height and steering column height on the posts with a silver Sharpie. All pieces securely lock in place and in two places have a double lock. They did not change while we were riding. I am 5’7” and 165 lbs., my husband is 6’4” and 230 lbs., and the bikes fit both of us. After two rides, we both bought gender specific, well-padded bike seats like the seats we bought for our Treks. After a couple of rides we were both able to assemble and to dis-assemble our bikes and stow them in the back of the Prius in about 7 minutes. I am able to lift and put away my own bike at age 65. I consider it a good lifting exercise. We did buy the bags to put them in, but for the four weeks we were in Florida we only used the bags to sit them on, we did not zip them into the bags each time. We did buy small bungee cords to anchor them to the side wall of the car. We did have them zipped in the travel bags for the trip to and from Florida. After two weeks of every other day use, we decided that the bikes would benefit from the professional out-of-the-box tune-up recommended at purchase, that we did not do. So we took the bikes to a great local bike shop that did the tune-up. My bike specifically, shifted better. My husband did not notice as much change. But well worth the money as we plan to use these bikes regularly once the weather breaks here.I would buy these bikes again if having a hitch was not an option or I wanted to take my bike anywhere. The bikes are easy to ride. They did take a little adjustment time, but after 2 rides we were both very comfortable on them.Do I wish the bikes were cheaper? Yes!Would I buy a heavier bike? No!Would I buy a bike without as many gears? No!Would I buy a bike without disc brakes? No!Most importantly, would I buy it again? Yes!
