Q: Is the cable waterproof? Can the cable be buried underground as long as the connectors remain above ground and dry?

The cables are weatherproof and can be buried underground. The main issue will be keeping water out of the connectors but you can accomplish that by wrapping them in some type of tape. I used electrical. Although I didn't bury the cables, they can be. If you are going to go through the trouble of burying them, I would place them in some type of conduit... Just remember if anything goes wrong, you will have to dig them up and remove them from the conduit to replace them.. Good luck!!
