It's really too bad these haven't been available for a while. They're made in China, so I hope there weren't quality/safety problems. :( My dogs really enjoy these, and they were fairly affordable. Dog chews have become unreasonable, considering they're just made out of hide that is unsuitable for other uses. Here's hoping they become available again.

Only buy if you want them to be like a nylabone where stays around forever.
We have been buying Oinkies for years and thought these would be about the same. They are VERY large(about 10" long and 1 1/2" diameter) which surprised me but I thought that would be fine, would be better value. I have 2 aggressive chewers and they have tried and tried and cannot chew these. They seem to enjoy taunting each other carrying them around and have been able to soften the ends some. One of them actually worked for a very long time and got it split in half. Will not be buying again.

Great size for most dogs. My dogs love em.
These are great! My dogs can't have beef and so few porkhides rolls can be found. I find these are a perfect size for my 40lb aussies. They go through them in about 30min or so but its just enough bone where I don't feel like they are overdoing it, but they really get a fun treat and good chewing session.As for those complaining about the smell, most pork hide products smell this way (we used to buy a different brand at Target and they had the same smell and oilyness to them). Most pork hide products are also much much oiler than beef products so if you are not used to it, that may be it. If you don't like this smell or oily texture, I'd recommend going back to the white beef hides. Pork can also stain your carpet if its light. My dogs both have white feet and they are brownish tinted when done. They lick their feet clean though and in a hour or so their feet are normal. Just an FYI. All bones do this though, you just don't see it with the white beef hides, doesn't mean there isn't a residue still lurking :P

Chemical smell
Horrible rancid, chemical smell when I opened the packaging. My dogs wouldn't touch them (don't blame them) and quite frankly wouldn't let them keep them even if they wanted to. Something is wrong with these treats to give off such a strong chemical smell. My dogs LOVE the porkhide rolls I usually buy at Costco, but its hit and miss with their supply so I got these instead. BIG MISTAKE and they don't take returns. Wonder why? Because everyone would return their crappy product???

These have an odd smell. Maybe it's just my dog, but she would not attack them right away like she does with other bones. She would let them sit for a day or two. We've finally managed to use all of them but we won't be buying more.

They're wet and sticky
They are sticky and wet when you open the package. They stain the carpet and splinter easily. Beware!
