Initial Review and thoughts
Packaging and Delivery: Came a day earlier than expected. Packaging was good. Transportation was also good as there was no sort of damage on the internal or the external packaging. Kudos to Amazon on that! The box contents were:The keyboardThe detachable USB CableUser ManualA Warranty CardA Welcome Card from HyperXWith that out of the way lets move on to the juicy part!I am using the Hyper X Alloy Origins(Aqua Switches) to the write the review.Keys: I have been using the cherry mx brown switches since I'm not a big fan of the linear red or the clicky blues. And honestly I must admit that the these switches are bit smoother than the mx brown. I don't know what magic HyperX has done but whatever it is I like it.Sound: I like how the keys sound, its music to the ears. I'm disappointed on how the space bar and the backspace sound. Its not that bad but yeah it's like a noise to the music these switches produce. The backspace isn't that bad but there is a lot spring ping sound from the space bar. You'll get used to it I guess. I'll tell you about whether I got used to it or not when I update this review. Apart from the space bar the keys are not obnoxiously loud like the MX blues, no one is gonna complaint about you typing or playing games on this keyboard, but they may complain about the space bar XDKeyboard: The keyboard footprint is slim profile. Minimal Bezels so if you have a tight workspace/gamespace like me, then this keyboard is gonna be a big fit. I have the full layout version, the TKL will save you even more space. There is a 65% version of this keyboard out there but unfortunately not in India. The keyboard has two inclination legs. Do you need a wrist rest? Not really unless you type for long hours. But even so they keycaps are not that high so as to make buying a wrist rest mandatory. The keyboard is adequately heavy giving it the premium feel. There is no flex when in the normal or any of the two inclination angles. The USB cable exits from the right and there are no other routing options so keep that in mind.Keycaps: So far the keycaps have not picked up any oil or fingerprint. The texture is smooth and soft to touch. Only time will tell how these hold up, but even so I'm guessing it will last a long time before you have to actually replace them.RGB(Everyone's favorite topic I guess, well almost everyone): Per-Key RGB with the option to customize however you want. There are three levels of brightness excluding the off option. The lights are bright as you can see in the image when compared to the full brightness on my laptop keyboard. The light shines through the FN options as well so you dont have to worry about that being a problem at night. There are three presets available on this keyboard which you can customize any way you want. The Ngenuity software: So the reviews on Youtube state that you need to keep the software running in order to keep your lighting setting running, since then HyperX has updated their software. Yes it is still only available on the Microsoft store, but the days where you had to keep the software running to light the keyboard the way you want are long gone. You can customize your keyboard whatever way you want and then the software has an option to save to keyboard which as it says allows you to save your profiles to the keyboard. Once its saved you can exit out of the software and the lighting you chose will still work. As a matter of fact the purple color shown in the images doesn't have the software running in the background.Gaming: I only played Destiny 2 with this just for 10 mins and I enjoyed it. The switches are not gonna be a bother to you in any way. Conclusion: Its a great keyboard and if you can find it on sale like I did for 7300 Rs. Its a steal. If you are new to mechanical keyboards and wants to try one, if you have the money I would definitely recommend this over any other in the this price segment. Though this keyboard does have a rival of sorts (Keychron K2 V2), it also comes for the same price tag of around 7200Rs and its wireless (can be used as wired too). It has its own use cases depending on what you use it for(mac users are gonna love that thing).I'll update this review as time passes or I find some cons. As for now I cant really find any consSo yeah thats my review for the HyperX Alloy Origins (Aqua Switches). If you found it useful, consider leaving a like.TYPE Awayyyyyyyyyyyy

Good typing quality way better than a membrane keyboard
The package arrived from amazon on time as promised. Opening the box presents the HyperX allows, TKL (Ten Key Less) keyboard. Solid aluminum frame and keys are quite well lit, with out of the box illumination set. The overall feeling on typing is solid. I am switching from a dell Bluetooth keyboard and straight up my typing mistakes have reduced. Typing speed has gone up as well. The backlit per key LED lighting is a treat to the eyes and converts the usual monotonous keyboard view to something you want to take a look at while working every now and then. Miles ahead of the regular membrane keyboard and I am happy to have chosen this and not the more expensive versions from Logitech or similar brands. HyperX allows suits my work needs and gaming I am yet to use. The keys are super smooth with the right feedback. I think the click sound is pretty much same as my keyboard that replaced.Keys are well placed, accurately lettered and the various brighness level adjustments right from the keyboard via functional keys makes quick adjustments easy too. All in all well recommended.

Decent Keyboard for the Price But There Are Better Options Out There
This is a really good keyboard for the price. It's very sturdy, due to the chassis being fully aluminium, and the key-caps are double-shot PBT. In the box you get the board itself, a braided usb-c cable, a key-cap puller and two alternative keycaps for the escape and space keys. I personally got the blue switches, and they feel great to type on. I have only two major complaints, the first is the lack of dedicated media controls, which I think is absolutely a must-have on a keyboard in this price range. The second, is HyperX's NGENUITY software, which is a buggy mess. So, overall, a very nice keyboard however I do feel like it's a bit overpriced, especially since you can buy a wireless Keychorn with hot-swappable switches for around the same price. I'd only recommend this keyboard if you are crazy about the gamer aesthetic and RGB lighting, otherwise there are better options available.

Best Mechanical Keyboard I've every used
Well I only used this mechanical keyboard so checks out.The build is 10/10 and Nguenity Software can actually customize every single key and keybindings.I am using this keyboard for past 3 months and i dont have any complains. There are still minor issues like:- very sensitive keys so pressed accidentally.- included usb c was bad and stopped working(i had good quality spare c cable)Pros:- best key sounds(smooth and clicky)- solid build quality- everything is customisableI brought it for the cheapest price back in the day for 5900Rs(6199, plus bank discount) and It arrived after 1.5 months. But if you getting it under 10k, It is worth it.

Nice keyboard with solid build.
I like almost everything about it besides the two swappable keycaps that came with it since they don't seem to be pbt keycaps.

Love the Aqua switches
Pros1. The Aqua switches feel and look great.2. TKL layout is a great option for those who want to avoid unnecessary clutter on their desks.3. It feels quite premium and sturdy.4. Good default lighting effects, with support for customization through the NGENUITY software and the ability to save them to the onboard memory as well.Cons1. The ABS keycaps get shiny after some usage.2. The stabs are of a poor quality and rattle a lot.3. No bundled keycap removal tool.

Really impressed
After trying several competing products, this is likely the one I am keeping.Thoughts:1. The LEDs are really bright. The only other company on par with this are the logitechs. The LEDs just look phenomenal and are true to color, unlike many competitors.2. The alloy frame is solid and just screams quality. The only thing I don't like is that the keyboard is really thin overall. I prefer to use a wrist rest and I think it will be difficult to find one thin enough to truly match this keyboard's height.3. The switches are really nice. I got the red linear and they are buttery smooth. They don't really thock but are relatively quiet. NZXT might be quieter but are higher pitched. steelseries was lower ptiched but very thocky, if you like that.4. The pbt keycaps feel great but the legends on the the symbol keys look a little gamery and not really crisp (eg. ;: looks pretty trash).5. The stabilizers are really the big problem. There is more lateral play than I would really like (my right shift is pretty wobbly) and they are really rattly. Such a stupid oversight for what is otherwise a really well thought out product, particularly since they chose to make it not hotswappable.6. It's not hotswappable... I don't really want to swap the keys out, but it would be nice to have the freedom to do a little light modding like replacing the stabilizers with something that isn't trash. All in all, after trying several competitors-NZXT, steelseries, logitech, royalkludge-this is likely what I will keep. The tecware phantom+ is on backorder, so I haven't been able to do a comparison of that yet.Update: I followed a youtube tutorial on how to basically do a variant on the bandaid mod for this keyboard that significantly helped the stabilizer issue. While the stabilizers could use some lube, the main problem is that they are just way too loose on the top plate. I partially pulled up the stabilitzers by unclipping them from the top plate. Then, I cut some really thin strips of electrical tape and used some tweezers to feed them through the part where the clip is and then clamped the stabilizer down on top of the very end of the tape. This made the stabilizers more snug with the top plate and I think the rest of the tape is sort of under the stablizer and the padding it from the PCB. This has made it so the longer keys have a lot less play in them and they are also quieter. I am still trying to decide if I will use a syringe to inject some krytox on the stabilizer bar and maybe the housing. For now, this was a good enough fix and I recommend others give it a try.

I'm very pleased.
For the price of this keyboard I am extremely pleased. I ordered it and it came in very early which caught me completely off guard, when I took the keyboard out of the box the first thing I noticed was the weight. Unlike most keyboards I could notice it was fairly hefty for it's size. The body feels sturdy (it has a aluminum base so of course), it feels very very nice to use, very responsive and to be completely honest I forgot about the RGB which was very bright and nice. I have no regret purchasing this, if you want a good keyboard for a good price I'd suggest this one for sure. I use a computer a lot as I play games and do a lot of work involving a computer and this keyboard hasn't given me issues to date, also if you're one of those people who like the sound of the clicks then this one is also another satisfying purchase, nice sounding clicks to the buttons. Great product!
