The original casters on my chair worked great, but the wheel was a very hard plastic and was damaging the wood tiles in my home-office. I didn't want to get a floor mat as that's just another item to clean each week, and typically they slide around too much.I found these for a very reasonable price and they've been great.Pros:Firm but pliable compound is much more floor-friendly and isn't causing additional tile damage.Wheels make far less noise as well because they're "soft". (Think Rollerblade wheels).Perfect fit for any chair that uses 11mm (7/16") x 22mm (7/8") x 50mm (2") casters.Manufacturer states maximum load of 317.5kg (700lbs) which probably far exceeds the chair's capacity in most cases.Cons:Each caster is a pair of wheels mounted side-by-side; This is very strong but also makes each caster slightly more difficult to turn when compared to single-wheel casters. I don't mind this, as it is so minor I've basically stopped noticing it. YMMV.Summary:Highly recommended, especially for such a reasonable price. They reduce noise and seem to eliminate damage to hard floors. Simple installation without any tools required - unless the original casters prove troublesome to remove.

Great wheels. No complaints about how they function. They work on every surface I've used them on. So nice! The only thing I wish is that they came in cool colors, but aside from that they've outperformed for their price and they are super quiet compared to the crappy plastic wheels you normally get with most chairs and super super smooth if I ever need replacement wheels again. These will be my go-to every time must buy for those that need replacement wheels although not best on super thick carpet. But then in all fairness, most wheels don't really work on super thick carpets, so as expected.

Have two hospital bed tables that I use for various applications around the house, and replacing their hard, plastic wheels with these made them quieter and easier to navigate.

I bought these to replace the wheels on my 10-year-old Aeron chair. These were easy to install, look great and roll well. HOWEVER, the center gas cylinder on the Aeron chair will now not clear the floor (see photo). I wish these came in a 2.5" or 3" size and then they would be perfect. Sorry to return them.

I just installed new luxury vinyl plank in my office. I am very satisfied with these wheels, haven't thought about it until this review, that is a good thing. They roll perfect, not too much but just enough friction to sit at my desk and not have it move around out of place. The installation was straight forward, this is some 2016 model year staples chair if I recall.I weight 200 pounds also, combine that with a often dirty floor that I should mop more often, but I do sweep it (my robot vacuum does) a lot, but still you can see dirt built up on the surface where the chair rolls and I do not see any marks, because if anything makes marks with these wheels is because the floor is way too dirty and the dirt is what makes the scratches.

I previously had the larger, single-wheeled casters and they were constantly getting stuck. I nearly tipped onto my face more than once and these have NEVER had that issue. They roll super smoothly and never hang up. I am using them in an office in an industrial setting, so there's plenty of dirt and grease around and these have held up great. 👍🏻

Got these to protect floors as I’m sure many will and the material is almost exactly as hard as the stock ones being replaced and they have a ridge on the middle. With being nearly as hard and having a smaller contact patch I was worried they might be worse for the floors than the original ones on my chair and never used them. Unfortunately, it sat too long before I used them and I also can’t return them.

I've been using these for a while now, on a couple different surfaces.The first surface was in my old house with the tiles that you just glue down. This floor definitely saw better days, but these wheels made rolling a lot more effortless than the original ones. Also didn't damage the floor any more, unlike the og wheels did.Now, I'm in an apartment with new vinyl flooring. So far it glides even more effortlessly than I expected it to. And it doesn't make me feel guilty about my late night computer use since I don't think my downstairs neighbors hear me rolling my chair, at least as bad as it would be.10/10 product. Would buy again if I needed to

Perfect for all floors

The caster wheels were described as being a universal fit, not for my chair though, a couple of mm out.I wanted to return them, but then realized they were sent from the US and me being in Australia and far from a DHL service centre and so would have to use Aus.Post and pay for the mail.I have decided to keep the wheels and make use of them somehow.I'm not complaining, it was my doing, my measurements weren't accurate, but my chair isn't from IKEA and looks like I don't live in this particular universe.
