Great value for the price when purchased. Not waterproof, but with care will last a long time. The display on mine has discolorations from being splashed several times, but still works. Only issue is a fair amount of delay if changing weight by only a small fraction of a gram. But easily remedied by just gently pressing the scale platform to have it re-set.

I needed a scale for precise coffee brewing and it was between this one and the Brewista smart scale. With this one being over $40 cheaper, I had to get it. It's just a scale, after all. It's a bit tiny, so my large 10-cup Chemex barely fits on it, but since it's glass I can still see the weight. The scale offers grams, pounds, and has a tare option like any scale should. I notice that it takes a second or two to update (i.e. the measurements don't seem as real time as they could be), but it's good enough for my use. It would be nice if it was rechargable, but for 20 bucks the two triple-A batteries it requires is acceptable.It's a good scale. I don't know why you'd need anything more.

Came in a timely fashion and package was great. It's got a "case" for it and batteries. Switches to measurements easily. We love it. EASY!
