I bought this bag a year ago and have used it over and over. Aside from just a weekend bag, it had been with me for at least 50k miles of flight. I can put my 16.5" laptop in it in the front pocket. The Velcro that opens to slide down on the handle of a larger rolling suitcase is really strong, almost too strong but good that it holds well and is useful as another pocket. The secret pocket under that area is a bonus. Only things that bother me are the backpack straps when I switch from that to trolling and body need to work out a way to bottom them up quickly. The strap that velcros for the laptop pocket use strong and after going thru security and trying to slam laptop back in quickly, i fight with releasing the Velcro to get the laptop back on place. Definitely fits under the seat in airplanes. I did tons of research before buying this one and haven't regretted it one but. I already had packing cubes that were much better so I've never used the ones that came with it. I'm sure they are handy but i prefer the super durable ones i already had!
