This looks like a flimsy product that would go through batteries rather quickly. However, on my first real use, it held up fine and did not run out of battery power. I'll have to wait and see how it does on a more demanding test.

I was pessimistic about this, but ended up being pleasantly surprised. It accepts both 2 x D batteries or 6 x AA. Go with the D cells - less hassle. The unit works great.

Upon receipt found the hose is a little too short and asked the vendor if they can sell me a longer hose. No reply since June 2024.I used the unit sparingly only to remove water from indoor planter catch basin after watering. Last used 3 months ago. Today 2/22/25, the unit will not turn on. Sent an email to customer service to check if there is a way I CAN FIX IT before deciding to purchase another. Hopefully, I won't have to wait a decade for a reply.Update 2/25/25I was in communication with the seller for the past few days after my review posted. We discussed several options on how to go about resolving the issue with the product.I can say that the seller went above and beyond to make me comfortable to trust that they will stand by their product. I thank the seller for working with me on this matter.

The transfer pump is a blessing. I filled up four 5 gallon containers with gasoline plus filled up the generator. This was in preparation for a storm that missed us. I used the transfer pump to transfer the gas from the containers to my truck. This saved me from spilling gas while putting it in my truck

These are amazing. We just had a 11 day power outage and I used this to transfer the gas from the gas container to the generator that works great.

Excellent item to pump out the water or any liquid on junction box at my work area

The pump uses d battery’s. I converted mine to usb a. After monthly use in water the rpm slowed and stopped around 5 month mark. Worked great until then. I am switching to a aquarium pump.

I"ve had one of these in the past and no, they don"t last forever. mostly due to intermittent battery connections like a cheap flashlight with D cell batterys. My advice is try not to knock it around to much and use some die electric grease on battery connections. When this one fails I"ll probably spend another 17 bucks and buy another one. I use it for gasoline and kerosene. I"ll be generious and give a 4 star rating.
