Aqua Sport and Swim Towel by for Beach, Pool, & Travel, Microfiber, Super Absorbent, Extra Large, Lightweight

This towel is great! I have had the chance to test it out before I hit the pool and I am impressed. I have never had a towel that absorbs moisture this quickly. I used it with my shower and I know that when it comes to wanting to dry off after hopping out of the pool, I will be very happy. Nothing is worse than freezing because your towel does dry you fast enough. The other amazing feature is the large size! It was so big and it had plenty of extra room for me. I am 6'5" and there was no issues with the size. It is even bigger than a bath sheet and that is really my favorite feature.

Okay, it's a towel. I can't say that it works any better than the cotton variety, however, it is nice and large (beach towel sized), big enough to wrap around your body after getting out of the shower or pool. Also, it is lighter in weight than a regular towel and takes up far less room in my swim bag than a regular towel. Finally- it does dry out much faster than cotton. So overall- good purchase. I got the teal and it is a nice, deep color. The fabric is sturdy-feeling, not flimsy. Leaves me more room in my swim bag for all of my other gear, shampoo, snacks, etc.

Of the 4 microfiber towels I've tried, I like the feel of the Aurorae best, followed by the Fina Waffle Weave, then the Ecodept, with Packtowl last. For home or car travel, I would choose the Aurorae beach towel or the Fina Waffle Weave. For backpacking or other travel where bulk & weight are undesirable, I'd choose the Ecodept. The Aurorae is the largest of the four, with a low terry weave, and dries well and comfortably for a microfiber towel (still doesn't feel like cotton terry). The Fina Waffle Weave is absorbent and feels pretty good, second behind the Aurorae. The Ecodept is fairly smooth but heavier and seems more absorbent than the Packtowl and is bigger. My spouse doesn't like change much and didn't appreciate the feel of the smooth towels, likening them to drying with a sheet of rubber; he thought he liked the Aurorae best although he didn't complain about the Fina Waffle Weave. They're all good towels, but we have our preferences for feel. Don't know if the Aurorae or Fina would be good for sandy conditions, and wonder if they would pick up sand or lint and keep it embedded in the towel. Something to think about but at that price, we are not likely to try that on purpose.

Versatile towel, nice size, easy to pack. It feels kind of funny (friction) on the skin and fingertips. I prefer cotton, but this seemsmore durable and lighter in weight to pack. We use fabric softener in most of our wash cycles, so I have to remember toput this in a wash without the softener or do a separate wash for it.

The material really just isn’t what I’d call soft. When you run your hands over it, it makes your hands feel like they are dry and peeling- it catches a little. The size is great and it does get you dry. I don’t know if it gets you drier than regular towels not have I noticed that it dries quick. I had bought it hoping to only bring one towel with me when I take my kids swimming... but I ended up barely using this because it just isn’t soft enough and my kids want a towel they can keep around them after a swim. In summary, I regret buying this. It is now another item that I’ve bought that was really not needed and I paid too much money for.

Bought 1 of these for the pool, liked it so much bought another! Very, very absorbent and very lightweight. I like that it has the terry cloth look like a regular swim/beach towel, and does not look like a blanket as other microfiber towels do. I found this a unique buy although a little pricey. On the downside, the towel is very, very slow to dry. I have to put it in the dryer after swimming at the gym, rather than air dry it, which kind of defeats the whole purpose I got it for.. However, I just tried a 'quick dry' microfiber ugly blanket looking towel and it doesn't dry quickly either!!

Great size. Vibrant color. Folds down well. One wash took the factory-chemical smell out.The only con is that one side of it is that plushy fabric (like on some stuffed animals) that sort of catches on any dry skin, especially on the hands. I admit though, I might be a bit neurotic about such things.

This is a quick drying towel that is HUGE. My son loves it! It washed and dried well, no issues. However it is very sticky or grabby when dry, so anything on the floor or ground will be stuck to this. We will use it only at the pool, not at the beach.

Very large. I use this in the RV as a shower towel. It's a bit like drying off with rubber so you have to pat rather than rub, but it sucks up the water and dries quickly.

Decent towel but has the standard micro-fiber feel against dry skin. Works well as a beach towel.

Advertised as highly absorbent and lightweight for travelers...not so much! pretty disappointing. Since it was a Christmas gift, I can't return :(

This was a gift for my niece on the swim team. She just loved it! It’s lightweight and beach towel sized.

Super soft and super absorbent. More absorbent than traditional towels. I have not washed this twoel yet but I will update my review when I do.

Nice towel! Very soft, and thick. Large yet compact, stores easily behind the back seat of my truck for those impromptu beach stops here in Florida.
