Organic Ocean KELP 8 OZ

Don't have opinion how it works because my cat totally refused to eat this supplement. I think because of smell. I tried to put kelp in dry food and in soft. No way.

I’ve been ordering this brand for years. Well worth the investment to add to your dogs diet.

First of all I'd like to say that my dog LOVES this stuff. It's hilarious to me, because I was concerned he wouldn't like it mixed into his food because of the kelp taste, he has been known to be very picky. The truth is it's exactly the opposite, I even put a little in my hand and he gobbled it up. After doing some research regarding oral health for our dog and our cat we found a lot of information supporting the use of kelp as a supplement to their daily diet. Based on the rave reviews we decided to give Life Line a try and we have definitely not been disappointed. Our Aussie has had a visible improvement in tartar control, and a very apparent improvement in bad breath. We will continue using this product as long as it is available.

Cat doesn’t seem to like

I bought this because I researched ways to help my dogs dental health. He has a scheduled dental cleaning I can now cancel! He is an itchy basset lab mix with stinky breath! But I can see less plaque on his teeth after a week, and he isn't chewing on his paws as bad! I am eager to see more benefits in the next couple of weeks!

I tried to give it to my cat (1/8 of a tea spoon per day as directed; I also had to use my blender to grind it as it is made of large pieces), then noticed it stopped eating it's food (home made diet) with this kelp.Tasted some of the chicken/vegetables/kelp, it was like I was dipping my tong in a spoon of salt.That is definitely not a good thing to give to your animals. If you decide to use it, please consider to just use a very small amount, just like when you'd salt your own food... I am not sure on how much to add to commercial foods (how salty they already are; definitely would not want to taste any of them).So, while it might has some benefits to it, it is a very salty product.

Great quality, just as advertised. My Dog loves it and has no ill side effects. She is 30lbs and gets no more directed. Yes it is salty, yes it is the iodine. However, it will not hurt your animal unless giving improper amounts or your animal has a sensitivity. It happens to anything!I can just pour it over food dry and she will lick it up. But I also give a little oil because she is a Bully breed and this helps with skin itchiness and dryness.My cats want nothing to do with it but they are picky and it isn't for them anyway. lol.

I add a tiny bit to my dogs food , but I found out ( by calling) that it's ok to use for myself in a smoothie. It is loaded with nutrients & it doesn't take very much- maybe 1/8-1/4 a teaspoon in a smoothie- can't taste it (otherwise I wouldn't use it!) . I have added it to bone broth soup or other dishes , & it's not noticeable . It's a healthy addition to my dogs food & my food .

Good product, after just a week of supplementing into my dogs diet and he is already displaying less signs of itching. Would highly recommend to anyone who has a dog with allergies.
