Rock Crusher Toy Kit with Construction Tools, for Ages 3 & Up

Ugh. I hate this toy. :-)But do my boys love it? YES!They have played for hours and hours with this kinetic rock set.They originally saw a commercial for it on tv and just HAD to have it. I gave in.The kinetic rock in this set is SOO sticky and messy and just such a pain to clean up.But it's a really fun thing for kids to play with. They use their imaginations, and it's great for sensory play.So yes, I'm an annoyed complaining mom, but I really do have to give it 5 stars, because the kids love it SO much. :-)

This stuff is pretty cool. Items were fast to ship. Bought these as gifts for my daughter and nephews. They loved them. The rocks are sticky.... almost gluey...it makes a mess. Tiny sandy rocks left behind on the floor. But they enjoy it.

I bought this for my 2.5 year old son after he saw an ad for this toy on one of those obnoxious YouTube unboxing shows. I resisted for MONTHS but this kid has a really good memory. He's like an elephant. Anyway. To say I hate this toy is probably an exaggeration, but the little rocks go everywhere and stick to the carpet in the playroom. I am constantly on my knees picking them off the ground. The toys is comes with are flimsy and cheap, which I guess is to be expected. The one nice thing is that the box turns into a construction vignette where you can keep the rocks (somewhat) contained and create a fun building site by incorporating other toys. My son LOVES this toy and has been playing with it daily for about a month now. Not one day goes by that he does not spend time crushing rocks or moving them around with one of his construction toys. I am giving it 4 stars (3 for me, 5 for him) out of fairness but don't expect a high quality product. Mostly you are paying for a small baggie of sticky rocks that may or may not drive you out of your mind.

This product arrived exactly as described, and my 4 year-old loves it! In addition to the rock, there are several components that he uses to manipulate the rock itself - the "crusher," a boulder that he can use to mold the rocks into a larger mass, an excavator with a working claw, and a driver for the excavator. I also like that the box folds open with a printed landscape ... the fun design keeps my son's interest and therefore everything stays contained. A few rocks have escaped the box once or twice, but they're very easy to pick up by simply pressing on them with a larger clump of rock. The only thing missing is a container for the rock, since it can / will apparently dry out if left in open air. I've been using a zip lock bag, and that seems to do the trick, so a simple enough solution.All in all, this set encourages creativity and imagination by allowing for endless possibilities. I'd definitely recommend this product!

My kid likes the vehicle and the rock crusher. He seems to like the Kinetic Rock itself, but I don't: it is NOT easy to clean up like Kinetic Sand. It's too sticky to sweep, it stuck to inside-out clothing through the washer and dryer, and the individual rocks are uncomfortably large to step on if you fail to clean up completely. The box unfolds as a nice 3-sided play area, theoretically limiting the mess, but the assembled construction vehicle can't be stored in the box. (If only they'd made the box a quarter of an inch taller!) The legs keep falling off of the construction worker figurine that came with the kit, so I'm glad my kid doesn't care about his vehicles having drivers.Advice: Skip the rock crusher set and buy regular Kinetic Sand, some plastic construction toys (even if they're not made specifically for Kinetic sand), and a shallow latching tub to use as a sandbox. Equal fun for the kids, less irritation for the adults.

Loved it, it was just like the image, and my son played with it for hours. It was soft, and it actually is pretty hard to dry out. My son left the kid off of our jar over night. It never dried like I thought it may have. It's easier to clean up than the kinetic sand, but it can scratch wood floors or laminate. It really is little tiny rocks. But it's really worth it for a little boy or girl who loves to play with play dough. Son is 5 and my daughter is 8. They both played so well and long together. Definitely a cool product!

My 3 yr old grandson loves this and plays with it often. It keeps him entertained and doesn’t make a mess. I was skeptical that they would really stick together and not make a huge mess but I’m pleasantly surprised. The first day he played with it there were some residual rocks here and there that stuck to our socks but nothing unbearable. The bag of rocks was smaller than expected and I’ll probably have to buy more but so far he’s enjoying them.

Ordered this for my son for Christmas and until I think the day it was being delivered there was no tracking info available. I messaged the company since if it wasn't going to be here in time I wanted to get something else for him instead.They also couldn't find any tracking and thought it was lost somewhere along the lines and offered to refund me for the item and if it arrived consider it a gift.It did arrive a few days before and when my son opened it Christmas morning he was so excited as he loves these kits.It is expensive but thats nothing against the company or the product as anything kinetic sand related is really expensive it's just the market unfortunately.If your kids like this stuff this kit keeps their interest a little longer since there is more to it instead of like another kit I bought which is basically just make and destroy bricks.Excellent product and amazing customer service, If only all companies dealt with things this quickly and easily especially over stress filled holidays!

My grandson loves it but I found the Rock Crusher a bit flimsy and small. Could be of sturdier material and bigger.
