Beauty Without CrueltyShampoo Volume Plus for Fine Hair Coconut,16 Fl Oz

I like how lightweight, mild-scented and natural this shampoo is. However, its ability to cleanse my scalp is limited. I cannot use this for every wash, I need something stronger every other wash to maintain scalp health.

I have been using this shampoo and coordinating conditioner for about 3 months now. I have thin somewhat wavy hair, and shoulder length, but a lot of it. I was looking for something to help with volume since it gets greasy and weighed down quickly. This combo is great for my hair. It does a great job volumizing but leaves no residue - so my styling products work that much better, too. Some reviews say the product smells great - I don't think it does. It doesn't smell bad, tho, and it doesn't stay in your hair - it rinses clean, so my hair doesn't smell like it even if I don't put any styling products in. So, it works well for me and the bonus is knowing no cruelty to animals was involved with the development of the product!

The first thing I noticed is it’s watery like water pouring out the smell was very light I like a lil more smell but honestly it just didn’t work for me I wish I could return it it’s going in the trash

I really like this shampoo, and do find it volumizing, but I find that the shampoo is not great when my hair is dirtier. For a sulfate free shampoo, it foams up great and washes out clean, but I need to repeat when I haven't washed my hair in a day or two, and I find that lately, my hair seems to be getting dirtier a bit quicker (may or may not be related, I'm trying several new things right now). My hair can get quite tangled if I am too rough when I rub this in, but the coordinating conditioner is great at detangling, so it's not a problem. Those prone to frizz may want to stay away or use more conditioner, but my hair is very soft after using this.Bottom Line - I like this shampoo and recommend it.

I have Beauty without Cruelty's lotion and absolutely love it. I was looking for new shampoo (just for a different scent really) that was cruelty free and found this. I was very curious to try it out! It has a citrus smell to it and the best way I can describe it, is it smells exactly like a citrus flavored tums. I'm not a huge fan of the scent because it is a little strong, but it's growing on me and the shampoo itself is great. Even though I only use conditioner once a week, my hair is very soft and silky from just using this.

There is nothing not to like about this product. I have baby fine hair that is somewhat curly, this has given me more volume and brought back the curls even though that is not what it is meant to do. I am very pleased with this, have been using BWC shampoo for several years and was happy to find this particular one. Very nice product.

I switched from the aussie/v05/citra shine to this, and WOW, what a difference! It is not as expensive as it seems because I need a lot less of this stuff to work than the cheaper shampoo I was using. I have very long but thin hair, it's half way down my back, and I only need a dime size amount to work. This has a very strong citrus smell, so strong it took me some time to get used to it. Without even blow drying, which I try not to do since it damages hair, I had a bit of lift at the roots after using this. Even after the first wash, my hair felt SOOOO much nicer than with any other shampoo I have used before. I can't exactly compare it to other organic shampoos, but going organic is the way to go and this stuff is definitely worth it!
