This thing surprised me. I've seen some of these traffic style mats in person and they usually feel weird or not ver "rug-like" but this thing is an actual rug for children. In a style they love at a great price. The colors are vivid and the images are clear. The quality is great and it is definitely non slip. My son loves it. I got the larger size and we love it. This is not a thick area rug if you want padding you'll need to add a rug pad but we don't mind it's easy to clean and a fun comfy place to play.

My grandson is crazy for Hot Wheels and other cars and trucks, so I bought this to put down on the floor of my playroom a.k.a. office for when he's over at my house. I'm really happy with my purchase. Colors are bright, and the quality seems very good. I especially like that it has a nonslip backing. Highly recommended!

This rug completed my child’s playroom. He loves pushing his cars along the streets and its amazing quality and colors for the price.

This rug is adorable and my son loves to play on it with his cars. However, it is not quite as clear as the photo appears. It’s not a huge deal, but some of the smaller wording like the “STOP” on the stop signs is barely legible. Some of it is a result of the color used for the wording blending in with the background. Still, I got this on sale so for the price it is fine. I can see how it may bother others though. It has a rubber anti-skid backing, but if you are planning on putting this on carpet it does slide around a fair amount.We have had this for about 6 months and it has held up well. It doesn’t get sucked up in the vacuum like some rugs do and it has even stood up to my cat scratching it without so much as a loose fiber. The only wear I have noticed is on the corners where the binding has come loose and you can see the padding underneath. This rug would be better if they could figure out how to make it clearer, improve the corner binding, and add a few more things to the city such as a construction zone, race track, and/or train track. Even offering a slightly larger rug to accommodate the extra stuff would give a good assortment of areas for kids to play with the various types of vehicles and figures they may already have. Overall, it was a good buy for the price point and it makes my son happy, so its a win.

This area rug mat is perfect for pretend play. It's large and covers a nice big area. It's actually become my living room rug. The rug material is soft enough to sit and lay on while playing, but rugged enough to withstand my grandson's tough play. He's on it every day with cars, trucks, and very rough play. There is not one pull or snag anywhere on it. I was a little disappointed when I first saw the images on it. The images are a little blurred compared to the crisp pictures on the Melissa and Doug rugs, but the details and amount of buildings and play areas more than make up for it. There are so many areas: A Hospital, Fire Station, Police Station, School, Store, Houses, Airport and planes, Car Wash, Gas Pumps, Office Buildings, A Zoo, Even a beach and water area!! My grandson literally plays on this every single day and never gets bored. It's amazing!! I highly recommend it. It's too bad they couldn't have made the images sharper, but the rug makes up for that in imaginative areas of play. And doubles as a room rug.

Not a true soft area rug, but an excellent play mat that's brightly colored, well made synthetic, durable, easy to clean, and tough. Ships like an area rug, lays flat, and has a true non slip backing. Low pile and tightly woven but still soft enough to make the floor more comfortable. We had one for 2 years and then ended up just getting another one, but the first one was still in great shape!

Our grandkids have had a lot of fun with this mat. They like to put various cars and people on the mat and constantly rearrange them. The mat is well made and easy to roll up for storage..

My 3-year-old grandson loves playing on this rug. His 18-month-old brother also likes driving his cars on it. I highly recommend the rug for kids who like cars and roads.

My baby loves all the colours. I am very happy with the quaility. I bought the smaller rug. Its a good size for my son's room. It brightens it up and looks more welcoming. I also like the layout of the roads and building. It looks like a little city.
