For half the price of a saya and magnetic and with the lil swivel stand thing it’s worth a try. I got 8in, fit one knife perfect several other of my knifes had a lil play but that from some in mm and some in English measure not a big deal at all. I have some somewhat unique Japanese blades that aren’t common enough to have matching sayas so these are a very welcome alternative. Not perfect, had a small chip in the wood but I will be using in a professional kitchen so anise will happen. I did run it down with some mineral oil as it was a bit dry amd rough and it popped more. Overall, well worth it, I will be purchasing all other sizes.

I really love the look of this product. They’re quite beautiful and my knives look amazing in them. The knives also seat well.The only downside is I thought the wood would be a bit heavier. It’s extremely lightweight so when you pick up your knife, the cover comes with it- which, if you are storing them in a drawer is probably ideal. Since I like to display them on the countertop because they look so nice, you definitely need two hands to grab your knife.They are very sturdy when on display and they are well-made.

I was looking for a sheath to my new damascus togiharu and this one caught me eye for the ability of standing, It came a little scuffed but well nothing to do there, it is magnetic so the knife wont ( hopefully) slide out, i hope it doesnt scratch my knife. And what i don't like that much is that as it is a stand as well, it is rather bulky. But generally speaking it is a good knife cover
