2nd Time Is The Winner
I bought another one from someone else and it wouldn't even hold a charge to brush my teeth once. This battery has great charge and provides a stronger brushing. My old battery was weak and could not hold a charge for even one brushing. This battery takes some soldering skill but was easy for me to install because I usually solder something a couple times a year. If you don't own your own soldering iron I would suggest having someone else install it for you.

Take your time, and do not pull on the charging coil spool.
Works great. Install is not so easy, and I was a bit ham-fisted in removing the innards and broke both charge coil wires. Do not pull on charging coil spool.I was able to resolder them. Removing the old battery was easy with a temp controlled iron set at 500F. I heated the pad and lead and used the tip to lift the lead so it was no longer touching the pad. Then just pulled the old cell out.Getting the new cell in was a bit more tricky and I first tried to bend the tabs all fancy. after I gave up on that, I was able to poke the tabs through their respective holes before snapping the cell into the holder. This left me with longer tabs on the circuit side, so I just folder them over before soldering (again at 500F using lead-free solder). After repairing the charging wires (enamel coated magnet wire maybe 30ga) I let it charge fully before reassembling.

Bad purchase
Not worth the money. Takes more than 24 hours to charge. First time the charge lasted only 3 weeks. The second time it lasted only 2 weeks. I only use it once a day (I have another brush that I also use). It came with the positive side marked by a sharpie.I am assuming that it can’t be returned after already installed by soldering!

So far so good- Battery for my Braun Type 4736
got the battery and one look, i knew something was wrong. the negative terminal/strip was tacked on the wrong side of the bottom. others complained that he leads were too long and needed to be shorten. i'm glad the leads were long otherwise i wouldn't have been able to bend the lead into position to solder. toothbrush worked right away, but battery was low. charged for several hours and it ran for a bout a minute and died. plugged back in and left it for the last 20hrs. hopefully it'll be enough to hold a charge. otherwise, i'll be back with an update! i would recommend this battery, at the moment. price a bit expensive, but other batteries had worse issues/reviews.

Perfect replacement, easy to install, great instructions. Need good tools and patience
This battery is perfect for the Braun Oral-B Triumph (make sure you have the right length battery!), with narrow and offset tabs that make installation very simple. There is no need to bend or reshape the tabs, they fit directly into the existing holes (after removing the old battery and cleaning up the pads). All that is required is to shorten them. The provided (and available online) instructions are very clear, with pictures that show how the process should go.Since installation a week ago the toothbrush shows 3/4 indicated charge after using it twice a day, I fully expect another three or four weeks (maybe?) before it needs to be charged again. Before replacing the battery the toothbrush would make it through one cycle (two minutes) then would be dead. Now it's back to what is was when it was new (at least).Note that replacing the battery requires a good soldering iron, desoldering tools (I used a solder-sucker to remove the old battery and solder wick to clean the battery pad), a T6 screwdriver, and a small wire cutter (to reduce the length of the battery tabs). A small hobby vice comes in very handy as well. Removing the plastic press-fit tip on the toothbrush requires a small screwdriver (or other thin blade), putting it back on requires some amount of pressure (I adjusted the jaws of my vice to fit the width of the tip and pushed). Some experience in this sort of work is very useful, it might be a bit overwhelming for someone that has never done small electronics repair. But if you have the tools, and the time, the results are well worth it.

Works!
I bought to repair a Braun Toothbrush. There are several different batteries depending on the model. One size does not fit all! Buying the battery with the solder tabs already welded is more expensive but will make installation much easier. I own a battery welder, but for a couple of dollars more it wasn't worth the time or effort! A YouTube search for your model will help in disassembly and identifying the correct battery. These are an exact fit sort of thing, close won't fit! Despite showing charged, my toothbrush seem to struggle, like 1/2 speed. This brought it back to like new. The videos will help, but it is easy to screw up and toast your big bucks toothbrush. Excellent Battery Life!
I love the ease of installing this replacement battery. All I needed to do was trim some of the excess from one of the tabs and re-solder it to the board. I followed the instructions of charging for 24 hours before first use and it lasted well past 2 weeks while using it twice a day (when the red light appeared on the battery level I placed it back on the charger rather than running it until it quit). Next time I will run it past the red light indicator! Love It!
